Good estate well located and restaurant offers decent choice of good food

I requested early breakfast, which was good, but I was asked to heat up the coffee in the available microwave.

Lots of wifi blind spots, and no explanation how to get wifi, how breakfast is organised, nothing. The worse part is the man in charge of breakfast and payment (seems like the owner). He is an awful character who literally threw a basket of breakfast bread and croissants on our table and got into a shouting match with another guest after taking about 20 min to bring one small communal jug of coffee on a counter for 20 guests waiting and being excruciatingly slow to bring the bare essential to each table. Salvation appeared in a few slices of ham and cheese to chew on while waiting. Shame that only after our stay we read other similar reviews regularly posted about the same person, because the property has so much potential.

The breakfast was good. It's convenient that the hotel has a restaurant. The view from our top-floor family room overlooking the forest and lake was quite impressive.

not much really.....the decor & appointments a bit 80's maybe, but doesn't matter.

The Breakfast was very basic, bread, cheese, ham and yogurt. If you are into mountain biking, this is a great location as it is less than 1km from the bike/ski lifts at the top of the mountain. If you are staying there in hopes of traveling to Colmar and visiting the surrounding vineyards, this is a bit far out of the way.

There was very limited mobile phone service once we reached the hotel and while they offered free wi-fi, it was too slow to use for anything other than google searches and also did not extend to our room. It was difficult getting someone on the phone to confirm a late arrival as their phone service seemed to be in need of repair. We also had a weird odor in our room that we could not figure out.

Location. Great view of mountains from dining room, especially when there was thunder and lightning, Dinner was good.

The WiFi did not extend into our rooms. WiFi speed extremely slow. Mobile data and phone connection useless, I know this is France, not the fault of the hotel.
