Really enjoyed this property for our visit the Highlands. House was comfortable and plenty of room for 2 couples and 2 dogs. Location is a only 5 minutes from downtown and the communication from the host was fantastic. We would absolutely book this home again for a future trip. Thanks!

Stayed 2 weeks in this very lovely mirror lake(Highlands) neighborhood. Host of as teffific in every way. The cottage is true to the pictures on VRBO. Great neighborhood to take your early morning walk. Close to town walk or a 5 min ride. We will definitely come back.

Our stay at Broadleaf Cottage was just perfect. An ancient hemlock tree stands watch just beyond the back deck. The cottage is perfectly situated between Mirror Lake & downtown Highlands. We ride bikes & walked every day. The sound of the creek across the side street provides the perfect white noise to help you settle in to a slower pace. The numerous seating areas inside & out provided us & our teenage daughter with the perfect places to have our own spaces when we needed them. Lindsay was fantastic to deal with. We’re already looking at when we can return to Broadleaf Cottage later this year & into next.

We had a wonderful mother daughter trip! The beds were so comfortable, and we loved spending time on the screened in porch! Property was clean and close to town.

2nd time staying here with my family (dog included). Great place. Clean welcoming. Lights were on when we arrived which made it easy to find our way around.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and well equipped. We Used all areas of the house including the kitchen, fire pit, bbq, outside porch. It was in a very central location. We would definitely come back.

We loved our weeklong stay at Broadleaf Cottage. It is even better than the pictures - lots of living space, well-furnished kitchen and great outdoor areas (including deck & grill, screened porch and fire pit in yard). We especially enjoyed the neighborhood for walking, as well as its proximity to downtown Highlands. Would return in a heartbeat!

Upon walking in for the first time one gets the feeling of "wow". The entire dwelling is well furnished, comfortable, and up to date. The bedding is comfortable. The house has an amazingly equipped kitchen. Close to town the home is definitely a winner!

Great location, clean, and quiet. Walk to town or stroll the beautiful neighborhood. All the creature comforts you want while still feeling like you are in the wild mountains. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our weekend getaway in The Highlands, NC. The house was exactly as pictured and the perfect size for four people. Very cute and comfortable home and had everything we needed for our stay. Lindsay was very responsive to questions before our trip. This was our first trip to the area and hope to come back in the spring or fall.

Highly recommend for 4 ppl comfortably but could accommodate 6. Great location. Clean. Easy to communicate. Went in December and wood burning fire place was perfect! Would also be great to use in other seasons and .5mi to walk to downtown. No complaints.

We loved the cottage. It was clean and had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable. The neighborhood was great and we enjoyed walking into town on the greenway. Will come again.

Great property! Super cute with exposed beams and a fireplace. Was great for our family trip with young kids. Home was walkable you Main Street which is a must for us. Also walkable to some cute small trails with a nice creek. The owner is extremely responsive. House is well equipped for what we needed. Even enjoyed s’mores by the fireside. Will be back!!

My husband and I Loved our stay at the house. It was clean and very comfortable. Had plenty of space and multiple sitting areas inside and out. The furnishings are top notch comfortable and so cute. No details were spared. Five Star Rating!!!

What a great property. Attractive, lots of sitting areas inside and out. Outside has several unscreened areas, and a great screened in porch all totally secluded. Inside has two nice bedrooms, very well appointed kitchen, comfortable den, and a living room with a wood burning fireplace. The house is VERY clean and not worn at all. Lindsay is terrific to deal with, responsive, flexible and helpful. Location is outstanding . Secluded, but 1/2 mile to town. So easy to run in for anything you need. Will be back!!

This property exceeded expectations. There were two living areas and the screen porch so we could spread out. It was extremely clean and well outfitted. Plenty of hot water and excellent wifi. The location is great - literally walk into Highlands as we did every morning for breakfast or walk around the Mirror Lake neighborhood. The neighbors were very friendly. We had a dog so we were out walking several times a day and got to know several of them. Lindsay, the owner, was great to work with. Clear and timely communication. Easy to get hold of. No problems. We would stay here again
