The house is situated in a great position for walking directly up to the walled cité. It is spread out over 3 floors so ideal for good mobility family. En-suite bathrooms, all very modern. We were fortunate to be able to find on street free parking.

Unfortunately because it is directly under the pathway to the cité that did make it noisy. The air con DID NOT work. In 34c it was a must for our family with an older member of 78 and despite calling on arrival I was told it did work and we were not operating it correctly. It certainly needs an engineer. Had to sleep with windows open which as mentioned was noisy because of steps to city. The stairs to the attic bedroom are not suitable for very young children or elder relatives. Could not use the room because it was stifling hot. The dormer window had a black cloth over it which did not help. The WiFi DOES NOT work. Not an issue for us as out all day but a teenager would of liked it to work!

The location is simply unbeatable, right next to the walls of the city. We were able to easily find parking on the street next to the apartment. All the appliances worked well, and the kitchen was well equipped. The only thing we found missing were wine glasses, which the management company brought to us quickly upon our request. We were also allowed to store our luggage after check out, allowing us additional time to explore the city. Highly recommend this apartment.

Shower in the bathroom. the hot water and cold water are not consistent.

Seamless, contactless check in via lockbox. Excellent location, at the foot of the stairs up to the old city, about a 3 minute walk up the stairs and you're in the old town. Free parking on the street, we found a spot nearby without issue. Large three story apartment with full kitchen, multiple comfortable beds, mini heaters in the bathrooms, TVs and all you need really for a couple or a family. Good value for money.

The washing machine is very slow, about 1:30 for a normal cycle and the machine doesn't work very well. The clothes were sort of clean at the end, but not fully. The machine does not tell you how long it takes or what cycle it's on, and doesn't really immerse the clothing in water and soap. Needs to be replaced with a better machine. Their is a good drying rack though.

The house was Perfect for us. Great location for the Castle and for the town, it was clean and fresh. The hosts were amazing we 1st booked in 2019 for Sept 2020 and out festival was cancelled due to Covid they moved our bookings with no problem then we were hit with another Blow for 2021 that it was cancelled again, Julie yet again transferred our booking for 2022. We can't thank you enough.

The only thing that we didn't like was the chairs at the dining table, maybe just given each Chair a comfy cushion would make it more comfortable.

The location is very good nearby the old city.

One of the double sofa beds was broken and was difficult to sleep there. Towels reeked of smoke, we didn't find the clothes drier that was indicated in the booking list.

No breakfast but adequate supply of coffee etc. Great location close to Castle path ( 100 metres)

The best place to stay in Carcassonne. The location is second to none being just at the foot of the medieval city. The house is spotlessly clean with everything you need. Perfect in every way, will definitely return.

Can’t get the cooker to work but eat out most of the time so didn’t matter.
