The hotel is in an ideal location walking distance from the centre of Arnhem. The room was large and well furnished. The staff were brilliant, in fact the young man who checked us in noticed that our car was parked in the wrong place and telephoned me while I was walking round the city centre and advised me to come back and move it to avoid a ticket. This is real devotion to duty. This is the same young man who carried our two heavy suitcases up to the third floor and then I had to force him to take a tip to show my gratitude. The breakfast was very good and plentiful and everyone worked hard to make our stay extremely enjoyable.

Breakfast was one of the best. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. This old hotel is centrally located and is quite quirky, which was a wonderful surprise. For the price I can thoroughly recommend it.

The stairs are a little daunting and therefore the hotel woukd not be suitable for folk with mobility issues.

A beautiful building in a great location near Arnhem Centraal station and the city centre close to a great selection of bars and restaurants. We loved the old-style decor and plush carpets. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfy with nice pillows. We were out early every morning so we didn’t have breakfast but we saw a nice selection of fresh breads and pastries being delivered. We will definitely stay again if we return to Arnhem.

The hotel is located in a wonderful central position of Arnhem, great for a trip by train or car. A wonderful building and a very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast is OK, but improvable (fresh roles would be great).

The breakfast start only at 7h30, personal unflexible to prepare a tray with a basic breakfast.

I love the atmosphere. It's like a sort of homecoming; you feel home right away. For me that was exactly what I needed.

Don't forget this is a hotel almost in the centre of Arnhem and nearby the trainstation. This is a plus for some, and for others it is not. Take this in consideration when you book your room.

The hotel is a truly beautiful old building. You have the railway station, central bus station, city center and the Sonsbeek park in walking distance.

Breakfast starts a 7:30 h, but I had to leave already at 6:45 h.

Staff were excellent; lady on reception dealt with COVID issues superbly at check in. Later on, the gentleman working the bar was really accommodating
