Nice location over looking the lake and easy access to the town centre. Good breakfast and all was nice and clean.

Getting a taxi from the hotel to the train station proved impossible after 15 mins so we walked pulling our cases with a scheduled train time of 1pm this made for a poor finish to the holiday. Also this was just accepted and no thank you for staying with us made it a little less enjoyable.

No kettle and tea or coffee in room. Mountain view mentioned was not a feature , just see top of mountain only . Court yard for parking not a feature either. Factual but nit features

Huge rooms with lots of space, room looking over to the river and a mini bar in the room. When we arrived it was raining and no where was open for eat dinner, receptionist allowed us to take a McDonald’s in the room which we were so thankful for, wasn’t sure if there was restaurant in the hotel otherwise we would have ate there

Stayed here for four nights last week. Great location near the beginning of Lecco. Taxi transfer from MXP was $130 euro and took about an hour. Can easily be reached by train as well (two hours from MXP, 40 min to Milan). Family run hotel with friendly and kind staff. Breakfast was plentiful but the same every day (pastries, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, hard boiled eggs and yogurt, etc). Great value and comfortable large rooms and bathroom. Had a room facing the lake which was lovely. Air conditioner worked well and they also have umbrellas to borrow if it rains. Good for exploring Lake como and it’s a 10-15 min. walk from train station. Also close to ferry to Bellagio but be sure to check the times (during weekdays only ferry in morning is 10:15 and the next is later at 2). Can take ferry to Bellagio and then take ferry from Bellagio to Varenna and take the train back to Lecco. Lots of trains Btwn Varenna and Lecco and lots of ferries Btwn Bellagio and Varenna. Also close to Malgate, which you can walk 15 min across the bridge.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. This is a family-run hotel and it shows. Because of flight delays I had to adjust my travel plans at the last minute and the owner really went out of his way to accommodate my complicated requests.
