Excellent value for money - great staff and Welcome.

There was a Cycling Tour de France team (Ineos Grenadiers) in residence who behaved as if they owned the entire car park, when we'd booked with over a month's notice requiring parking for a car & trailer. The hotel manager was quick to set them straight and we got our promised park. Great work on the part of the hotel manager. Poor behaviour on the part of the Ineos Grenadier team.

The location was fantastic, with an easy train ride into Lyon, and some great bike rides nearby. Breakfast was solid and we had dinner once at the hotel and it was decent as well.

The hotel needs a little work, some little things were off like our shower's hose had no way to secure it to the wall and you were stuck holding it up.

Unfortunately we arrived on a public holiday, so most places to eat, including the hotel were closed. Please tell your guests from abroad when this is about to happen.

Despite a major traffic jam around Lyon which resulted in many extra guests at the hotel, the receptionist remained calm and friendly. So nice! Good breakfast and nice staff..

The staff was nice, professional, and welcoming. Finding a decent place in the area was not easy and this hotel remains decent. The free parking. The proximity with the very good restaurant "Brasserie du fleuve".

- The rooms are small - Sound proofing is not ideal, we heard neighbours the whole night, but those neighbours were more noisy that the usual resident - bathroom feels old and small, we found mould on the ceiling - room could have been cleaned better, lots of flies were dead on our table close to the window at our arrival - aircon orientation is right to your face when you sleep

Despite calling to explain we suffered a severe car accident on the way and would not arrive same day they simply said we would be charged all the same.

It does what it says on the tin. Everything they offer is delivered. It's a clean, efficient, friendly, no frills hotel.

Soap dispensers in bathroom could be a little more ergonomically positioned.

Great location and value for overnight stay if you are on the road through Lyon. Memory foam pillows helped us rest phenomenally. Staff was kind.

Slow wifi. Don't expect to be able to stream video comfortably. OK for working. Check-in process a bit tedious, with many explanations and several offers to purchase additional products/services. Poor noise isolation. We could hear water running and toilets flushing from other rooms.

For the access to the floors of romms there is a lift, but if you want to go on your feet stairs are only external.

Easy access from the highway, but in a quite area. Closeness to the river. The temperature of the rooms (fresh with no necessity of air conditioner)

Due to COVID-19, there were no empty places de-marked in the breakfast area (empty tables to avoid proximity to the others guests). Not all guests respected the rule of using masks protection.
