beautiful hotel and centrally located

The property is very impressive even though it is not situated on the ocean and is not in a favorable location in our opinion as far as nature goes, but it does make a big splash as far as the quality and well located amongst the very touristy area in Zakynthos. everything in this hotel is very high-end, as well as the level of service linens. Shower furnishings are all super modern and the breakfast buffet is extensive and delicious. We used it as a base for part of our trip to zakythos, and would recommend it if you don’t mind being away from the most beautiful parts of the island, and want to spend a lot of time going out and not in the nightlife or near the airport.

The only downside is for us. The location is a little far from the most beautiful part of the island, and there is no ocean view but if you’d like to stay in a resort, I don’t think you’ll find nicer.

Breakfast was amazing, room size okay.

Unfortunately the water in the pool was ever so cold. I had a room with private pool, I regretted it because I couldn’t make use of the pool, which was really sad. Even with the weather being warm , the water was too cold.

we went at the end of the season so the water was a little bit colder but not really a complaint. we loved our stay

the staff where lovely, and super helpful. We got upgraded to the private pool room which was exquisite! the bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. Panos was amazing :)!

the safe and room telephone didn’t work properly. the roof garden restaurant food was average and slightly overpriced

The entire staff was wonderful from the moment we walked in, until we left, from the front desk, the bars, restaurants, housekeepers, were all wonderful!

It’s not the property per se, we weren’t much into the loud bars and touristy restaurants around. Felt a bit much, and was extremely loud..

The hotel is very beautiful, the stuff was friendly and helpful. Super versatile options for breakfast! Pretty close to the beach.

Water in the pool was very cold, I wish they heat it at least a little bit.

The staff was going an extra mile with trying to be helpful which is really appreciated. Also we really liked the small gestures they were doing during the day (bringing snacks, cleaning sunglasses, etc)

I didn’t notice the hotel wasn’t adults only when booking and was very surprised to find all sort of inflatable animals and mattresses in the swimming pools which in the afternoon turned into kids playground. Also the food (both breakfast and dinner) was borderline terrible so I would suggest to dine outside of hotel

Very modern and clean interior design. Calm atmosphere, wonderful facilities, friendly and accommodating staff and tasty varied breakfast. Beautiful spa area with a dry sauna and a Hammam (steam room) as well as a Gym. The common areas of the hotel are stunning and the pools are very clean and nice to swim in. The hotel service exceeded our expectations and gifted us fruit and wine during our stay and a little parting gift bag with local Zakynthian sweets on the day of our departure. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Not too much privacy around the pool area. Extra services overpriced. Not all of the rooms are modernised; we stayed in an older suite which was comfortable but didn't live up to the standard of the other areas of the hotel.

Zante take me back!!! Hotel and location right on the main strip. My kids loved it here. Beautiful hotel. Amazing service.

THE INDOOR SWIMMING POOL WAS LOCATED QUITE FAR AWAY AND WAS TOLD THAT YOU HAD TO PAY FOR IT.

We got upgraded to the swim pool, nice surprise to walk straight out onto the private pool. Great location. Breakfast was top notch. Pool food wasn't great. Roof restaurant was ok.

No door to the shower, so the floor outside the shower got wet easily.

Fantastic staff at Contessina Hotel who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were upgraded to a room with its own semi-private pool, which was this was our babymoon, was a lovely bonus. Loved the modern, classy style of the whole hotel. Rooms were kept immaculate. Lots of little perks throughout the day if you're by one of the two main pools: fruit, sweet treats, or little cocktail shots. Good range of pools: bigger, shallower, warmer one nearer to reception and a longer, deeper cooler one that's good for swimming a few lengths. Plus kids pools next to both main pools and all the private/semi-private pools. Ate at the roof-too restaurant one night using the voucher we were given on arrival: delish! Breakfast was also great and a fantastic range of food. Made use of day trip service, spa (for massage) and gym whilst we were there. Short walk down to Tsilivi Beach and lots of good restaurants within walking distance (use TripAdvisor or similar to avoid the tourist traps). Will definitely be recommending Contessina Hotel to friends.

Poor dinners. There was no choices on salads, soups etc. Also no explanations on the menu what the dinner names means, so each time we had to ask what exactly they offer to eat. If there was something which you don't like, then there was not alternatives. We thought that this was the weakest point of this hotel!

Most beautiful hotel! Recently renovated - the hotel has two public pools and also includes private swim up pools. Hotel also has a brand new gym and spa area! We were upgraded to a swim up room on arrival and had the most magnificent stay! Highly recommend

No full length mirror in the bedroom and Wi-Fi could be improved
