How i meet the first house they gave me was very dirty

Nice neighborhood, nice backyard, although is more valuable in the summer time(swimming pool). Good price rate for the services and the distance to center of Barcelona. Nice that is has a bread toaster, water boiler a a coffee maker(as tiny as it is)

Well, there are are few things worth improving: It will nice to have a support/glass for the tooth brush. A thrash can in the bathroom would be nice. A place to dry the dishes and maybe even a dish washer. The furniture color and how is disposed is kind of regular. I've seen tinier placed with more color. And we had some uninvitaded friend as soom food was left on the table - ants

Things in our room was so uncomfortable and old

cold, dirty, smelly, loud. you have to pick up your key from another hotel (>1.5km), not practical for people with luggage and no car.

Comfortable bed, relatively well-equipped kitchenette.

A bit noisy surroundings (especially planes sometimes passing above this part of the city when landing). There was a mould in one corner of the room.

It was a pleasant place to stay, with a nice view of the garden with pine trees and swimming pool and a big piece of sky. It was near the beach and near a lot of restaurants. It was also easy to use the public transport (bus), there was a bus stop nearby to go to Barcelona or the city center of Castelldefels. It was very practical and handy to have all the facilities that one has at home (electrical appliances, kitchen accesoires, cutlery, etc.).

There were a couple of little defects, like that the toilet paper holder was broken, or that the sofa was also a sofa-bed, and it was not well assembled, so that the seat was a bit uncomfortable. In the kitchen, some of the knives were still dirty in the drawer, they had not been well washed apparently by the former occupants and this was not checked by the appartment owner. There was no hair dryer in spite of the fact that there were many other household appliances. I phoned to ask for one, they said I would get one the next morning at 8 o'clock from the cleaning lady but this didn't happen in the end. Unfortunately, we had some noisy neighbours that made some noises at night, and there was a neighbour that snored a lot and we could hear it quite well :(

Comfortable apartment for 2 people, location close to the beach and close to 2 buses to Barcelona.

The room was spacious, the building nice and quite, comfortable balcony towards the shady area with trees and the pool.

There were ants in one of the wardrobes, overall the place would need some extra cleaning. Communication around the check-out wasn't clear enough, although we stated clearly that we will be leaving late - in the evening. We were just asked to leave the keys in the room, so it came as a surprise to find out on the date of the departure that we were supposed to leave the room by noon.

it wasn’t safe for my kid, the front door doesn’t lock from the inside, he could open it and run away, save for the door to the balcony and the pool. Microwave is at a kid’s level, the air conditioning was leaking, the fridge was absolutely empty and there is nowhere around to just buy water. Upon arrival had to fetch a cab to go to the store or eat at one of the beach restaurants. Not suited for a single traveler with child. It was dirty and the shower flooded when used.

The apartment was nice as it was on the ground floor so easy access for a pushchair. The size of the apartment was good with plenty of storage space. The salt water swimming pool was excellent. The location was good just a 5 minute walk to the sea front and beautiful beach.

The kitchen wasn't very well equipped, it did have a kettle and toaster though and a good sized fridge. It could do with more glasses, bowls and cutlery, especially a sharp knife. It was nice to have a patio but it is not enclosed so anyone can walk through and it doesn't keep children in. Fortunately the pool is fenced but people fail to close the gates. There was no room cleaning or change of linen for the week we stayed. We did get fresh towels when we could find the cleaning lady. They do kot provide poolside towels.

You have to be out at 12. I was packing late (my bad!!) And as we wanted to pick the last items (12h08), the door was closed and I was standing outside with the kids. We lost 45 min until someone came. It would be great to be not that punctual. Some buffer (15 min) for the customers would be great. However, my bad having packed up late! I was not able to open the couch. I am not blond...

we did not like the property

they didn’t give us notice that you had to pick up the keys of the apartment at a different location so we had to walk under the sun for about 15 minutes where the person in charge didn’t really apologized for the mistake. he just said that “we should not worry, that they would fix that for the first time”. we asked if we could get some kind of shuttle to get back to the apartment where our elder mom was waiting for us outside of the property and they said it wasn’t possible. on our arrival we found that the property wasn’t very clean, the very dangerous, sharp edged, dark and steep staircase had footprints of what looked like sand or dirt all over. the walls were all filled with black spots of dirt. the aparentment didn’t feel cozy at all, very few decorations with empty walls and the paint in some parts was falling off from the humidity. the apartment complex isn’t near any restaurant or convenience story and feels very isolated for a tourist who doesn’t know the place. the beach is close enough, about 3 long blocks.

Perfect location. Nice building. More spacious than expected.

Lack of reception at the location and need to get keys elsewhere. After a long journey from abroad and and with luggage, painful and a real inconvenience. Taxi ordered to go back to Barcelona never came. No iron, no hairdryer - we had to ask. And got them. Thanks. Not spare toilet paper. No extra towels. Latch on baywindow was broken so could not be locked.

had the problems with WiFi during the half of the stay, afterwards the stuff managed to fix it, but it was pretty slow

It was not clear that we needed to pick up the keys from another hotel and that even this was closed for lunch when we arrived very tired after a long journey. In addition and most upsetting was that we got locked out of our room as the electronic key failed after we returned on the first evening. Eventually, after over 2 hours waiting outside the apartment and multiple visits from the staff team who did their best to gain entry they succeeded and we eventually got to sleep after midnight. We appreciate the staff who attended us. They were very concerned and thoughtful but unable to solve this problem quickly.
