the staff are exceptional! The location is perfect, grocery, cafes, restaurants and the sea nearby.

Good location, near the sea and restaurants, bars etc. Good sized room, comfortable beds. Window had no view at all, just a wall in front that was so near you could almost touch it, but I think it's acceptable as we had chosen one of the cheaper rooms, and at least having such a 'nothing' view meant we couldn't hear any street noise from outside either (a common problem in most of Vietnam!).

It seems this hotel business is somehow connected to the very large and very new posh hotel next door. When we arrived, we were asked to go to the posh hotel to check-in, then had to walk back to Petro House hotel to our room. Not a bad thing, but unusual. At least we were able to use the big parking area underneath the posh new hotel.
