No Wifi. No DSTV . Keys arrangement was too time consuming I had to go by three times. Sofa was Old and dirty. Place was very unkept

This is a terrible place to stay, one of my worst ever. The bed is not comfortable,the stove is broken an the couch is broken. The guards don't even know about the flat when u get there. I don't recommend it to anyone.

Furniture was broken, mattress smelled with urine, kitchen had no lights, stove was broken, pipes were leaking, no cleaning agents were given, shower gel, soaps, toilet paper etc were NOT available on arrival. Loose broken electrical cables were running on the stove. The rooms had a horrible stale smell. The parking area was filthy. The kitchen and lounge was like a dungeon instead of a Haven. Yet it I paid a high price for this place, it was not worth even 50% of the price I paid. Towels (2 per person) and sheets were changed once a week. Bookings.com emailed to say the owner deducted R300 from R1000 security deposit for no reason. It’s 14 days later and I did not receive any reimbursement. I got my own helper to clean the place and a plug was packed away with my belongings when I left. The only good thing the owner did was to enquire about the plug which I returned immediately the next day!

The indoor swimming pool and the security guards were super friendly
First of all, the check-in was at night all due to the people that stayed there the night before checking out late, and they were cleaning it from 10 am to 17:30. The bed has no legs, the sofa has no legs, and it looks like it's collapsing.There's a rag kept under the hand basin to absorb the leaking water. It smells very, very terrible and makes the place smell
When I was reading reviews about the key and damage deposit of R1000, it was too late to cancel .I, however, went and took pictures of everything that I found wrong .What I found astonishing is that some of the wrongs in there, she had to keep the key and damage deposit from previous clients ,but she never fixed it.
The sleeper couch had marks, and the fitted sheet that came out with it had yellow marks looking like paint. How can I be told the unit must be inspected before deciding to refund me ,meanwhile there's people checking in the same day? when will the full inspection be completed while there's new people that checked in?I will never go back there, and I suggest you read reviews before booking this place.Why is the inspection not done when we are handing over the keys, while I am also present ?luckily, I took videos and pictures

Even though I did not stay there due to unfortunate reasons with the previous tenant not wanting to go and they had to refund me, which was also quick. The service was good. I was informed of everything and updated of circumstances changing

Very poor hosts wouldn’t recommend this place again she is absolutely selfish and doesn’t care about clients. Has been avoiding my calls for my deposit refund she even blocked my number.

It was a nightmare getting in after a long trip. A over complicated game of proof of payments, codes and locks without a human in site who cares. Security at the building treated me like some lost person looking for a home. No Wifi, No DSTV ( what was the TV and decoder for ? ) Building was filthy, place looked like a Crack Den.
Dark and gloomy flat. Operators could not be bothered with a dustbin bag in the Dustbin. More like Lily's Hell Hole. I was there for 5 mins and then booked in at the Town Lodge across the road. I told the operator that I was unhappy and would be leaving and all I got was another long list of how I must manage the Key. No apology, no interest. How are individuals like this allowed to run a business ?

I didn't like anything. The place was dirty, we couldn't view it before paying and now she is refusing to pay our money back.
She scams people of their money, doesn't clean the unit, forces you to pay security deposit and doesn't give it back.
I would not recommend anyone using that place. It looks like a brothel and look very dirty.
The owner even lied and said that we broke glasses and made the place dirty so that she keeps the deposit.
That place should be close and I will make sure of that.

I'm very disappointed by the treatment I got when I arrived. I arrived at 14h30 but only got in at 16h45,told that the apartment is still being cleaned. Moved to another building at Central Place & the security would not let us in. It was really a struggle, we had to fight on the phone with those unreasonable ladies. Up to now I'm still waiting for my deposit money. I would never recommend Lily's Haven to my friends & family because of their bad service.
I regret booking there. No breakfast no cleaning service and bad service. Imagine waiting almost 2hours to get in in the rain. The apartment had no view, it's in the parking lot.

The location was ideal as Gateway was in walking distance.
The swimming pool was not operational. I was looking forward to the pool due to covid reasons not going to the beach.

There was no WiFi or coverage in the unit and this is very problematic if you are on a business trip.
I am battling to get an invoice from the host for the amount paid. As stipulated this is a business related trip and I need an invoice for expense claims.
