The room it self was okay

They have rubbish internet and the staff are rarely there and so couldn't help. The number they give redirects to a hotel in Mannheim that can't help if you have any issues. I booked here thinking it was really "Business Suyte" and would have okayish but had to leave early because, well, they don't. They appear to have 10 MB line which is obviously insufficient for 30+ apartments. DO NOT GO HERE if you want to be able to use your laptop for working or taking video call. Also added bonus, if you have any problem, booking.com will say it's your responsibility to resolve the issues with the company directly and take zero accountability, though they take a cut off the top regardless. Can't recommend either Booking.com or this place after my experience here.

I liked that the hotel is in short walking distance to the main train station. There was a good and cheap Thai restaurant a 5 minute walk away. There’s a small supermarket about a 10 minute walk away. When the hotel was attended by staff, they were kind and helpful.

I stayed 3 nights in 2 different rooms. -No bath towels were left in my first suite. The floor was not swept. -There were no kitchen utensils in my second suite. Nor did the AC work. -The tv satellite connection did not work in either suite. When I reported the issue, they made a call and learned it would not be fixed for several days. -There is usually no attendant in the hotel after 5PM.

washer/dryer access was wonderful! garage, surprisingly, was not oversubscribed, so the last day when it rained, we were able to park inside and keep us and our suitcases dry. breakfast was fine, but too expensive, with warm croissants! filled up, though, and we had to leave and return 20 minutes later. room, though small, had a huge balcony, in rainy Germany.

horribly squeaky door into our room. no staff could address this until the young man at reception the day we left. exterior stairs that are wet with rain. can’t imagine snow or ice! exterior access to elevator and thus, to rooms as well. crazy for Germany. if the garage had been full, parking on the street was impossible: we were lucky.

Big space, very clean, kitchen, laundry room, super kind staffs, easy check-in/out

The lift that you cannot open the door inside without a key card. I got on without a key card and was stuck in the lift after the door was closed. Luckily, a passerby heard my scream and opened it from the outside, and I was able to escape.

Very comfortable, easy check out, nice studio and clean

The shower was amazing, comfortable bed, nice baloney and really high quality toiletteries. Thank you. Gladly again.

It is not a big deal, but the bathroom entrance is very narrow. I think it should have been a slide door instead...

Especially the service and the breakfast were great!

Instructions for check in after their working hours was very clear and so easy. They sent messages to remind our check in.

Room can be brighter.

Rooms are very nice, clean and spacious.

Breakfast could be better, not to much choice.

The hotel is nice. All facilities are clean and new. It’s nearby to the castle. You can take 22 line train easily to the old city area. The hotel colleagues are nice, they are very friendly and give us many useful tips. By the way, their English is very good, you can speak English with them frequently. I have really a nice journey in Heidelberg!

Clean and comfortable stay.

The comfortable room was smaller than I expected. At least that would have been a better-equipped kitchenette.

The room was very spacious and it was handy to have a small kitchen. The contactless check-in was very convenient after a long drive.

AC was not working all time and living room without AC

Location was good. Place was very much accessible to prime tourist locations. Front-desk & house keeping team were polite, responsible, friendly and even apologetic when I explained to them about the inconvenience that I faced during my stay.

My booking specification was for 2 adults + 1 child and I expected the extra bed or sofa come bed would be setup already in the room. But to my surprise, this was not arranged, and apparently no additional pillow and blanket for the child was provided. When I called help-desk, help-desk person directed me to go to basement near laundry area, where i can find additional pillow & blanket. But, unfortunately I did not find that too. So, we managed to sleep one night without an extra bed, pillow and blanket. However, as the help-desk person committed, the next day room service person came and kept all the missed items outside the room door. Again, due to communication/ language issues (me being an English speaker and room service lady being a German speaker), we could not understand each other, to know if she is going to arrange the extra bed or if I have to do it. Anyhow, due to this confusion, I arranged the extra bed myself. 2nd communication gap - due to which room cleaning was not done for the entire 2 days, 3 night duration of our stay. During check-out, when explained all these inconveniences to the front-desk person, he was polite, apologetic and he did try to compensate by waive off the accommodation cost of pets stay, and he further did try to waive additional cost. Since, I had done my booking to Booking.de, he could not further reduce the cost of the accommodation.

everything was perfect, the only remark I have is that I did not find specific bins for plastic/glass/paper: give the opportunity to the costumers to recycle if they are willing to

- Kitchen is in the living room and if you cook anything it will smell for a while ( I cooked a medium-rare steak). It was 37°C outside so could not open the window due to heat. I suspect this is less of an issue if not so warm outside and you can open the balcony door.
