Lovely quiet location on the water with very comfortable accommodation and a unique relaxing atmosphere. The local staff were all very friendly and very attentive. The opportunity to swim off the pier followed by a sauna was brilliant.
Nothing to dislike.

The cooked breakfast was really a treat and there was plenty of choice.
Dinner was not great. We stayed on a Monday and Tueday night so maybe the chef was off duty but it was very mediocre fare and very expensive.

Evening meal was expensive and vegan option not great value.

The overall atmosphere in the hotel was so relaxed. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was so delicious and the location was spectacular. Being able to see the water from nearly every window in the house made it a very calming trip.

The house and grounds were beautiful. Dinner onsite was delicious.
We found the staff to be aloof and hard to find when we needed them. Our toilet seat broke twice in the one evening we were staying and we had to use the toilet in the lobby. Our massages only lasted half of the time we had them booked for and the rest of the spa was mediocre. When we brought up these issues at checkout certain members of staff had really bad attitudes. With the price per night, we wouldn’t stay here again.

A wonderfully secluded location with its own grounds and house overlooking a private harbour. A great place to escape to and enjoy all the facilities including, a hot tub, swimming pool, and sauna with wonderful views over the bay. All the feel of a country house hotel without all the fuss. A great Connemara unwinding experience with friendly and helpful staff.
Evening meals had a selection limited to 2 choices per course and ofttimes lacked vegetarian options. Yes, you could obtain these if you asked but surely they should be included by choice rather than optional.

Rooms have no TV. Restaurant food was inedible although we were compensated for this.

Even though it was only a few minutes drive from a town, Screebe House felt secluded. Room 4 had beautiful windows that looked out across the Atlantic tides. It was stunning. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The staff was always very helpful. Perfect place for a romantic get away.
