The heated pool was great. The garden and grounds were kept very neat and tidy. The DVD player was a real plus, we took our own discs to watch. We also took our wii which we easily hooked up to the TV. We also took extension cord and powerboard. There are ample power points however it was handy having them with the kids needing to charge their multiple devices lol. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms were appreciated. We didn't use them but there are multiple bbqs and seating in the grounds and a great looking outdoor play area, with real trampolines. There is also a playground just across the road near the beach with swings and a flying fox. There is a footy field across a different road if you want to kick a ball around.

Most of the windows in our upstairs apartment only opened about 20cm (for safety) and the curtain blocks the opening. It would have been nice to have a ceiling fan or pedestal fan the lounge area, there is a reverse cycle air conditioning unit in the lounge which we set to "fan" just to circulate the air. There is a fly screen on the sliding glass door however it wasn't a "security flyscreen door" and didn't even have a small latch to prevent it from being opened. Something to keep in mind if you have toddlers who like to open doors. Being by the beach it would have been nice to take advantage of the ocean breeze at night and listen to the crashing waves a bit more. Having said that it was a fantastic place to stay 🤩 PS just to make it clear, the glass sliding door itself is very secure and locks...its just the flyscreen that doesn't.. for those that like to let the breeze in whilst sleeping 😉

simple little apartment with comfy beds and nice facilities. Walk across the road to beach access was perfect

There was minimal signage and directions so it made it hard to find certain areas and facilities
