Beautiful Property! We had a group of 15 and never felt crowded or cramped! Four full bathrooms were a plus with 15 females! Stellar Communication with the Property management! Amazing views from the top deck! Plenty of parking considering we had multiple vehicles coming from different locations. Nice and clean, with pleasant decor! In fact, we had a memeber of our party.making plans to come back in August for another stay! Thank you for opening up your home and allowing us a memorable long weekend of fun!

This was perfect for our family reunion, we rented both properties both upstairs and down! The proximity to the beach was a treat!

Everything was super clean, the house was fully stocked on both floors, TVs had great options with Wi-Fi. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful long weekend with our closest family for our wedding on the beach straight off the boardwalk. It was everything we had dreamed of. The house was spacious enough for 17 of us, we spent our evenings on the top patio playing games and laughing, mornings watching the sun rise and days down on the beach. A perfect weekend.

Clean and spacious, large oceanfront porch, comfy beds and safe parking. Nice walk to the beach. Perfect for our large family.

Unbeatable view! Amazing access to beach… felt like we were on our own private island! Staff was very responsive to any issues, as needed. House was clean and very accommodating. Back porch and back yard (the beach) was the best!

This was our third visit to the Barefoot Hideaway Retreat. We have a family of 18, consisting of all ages. Once again, this is the perfect location for our family. The beaches are beautiful and well kept. The house is large enough to have us all together while at the same time giving us a space to go when we need a break. We have never had a problem with needing anything as the house is well equipped. We had an issue with a slow drain in one of the bathrooms and a repairman came out within a few hours to fix it. Great communication! Looking forward to booking again!

We had a larger group staying there of family and this property worked great since the upstairs and downstairs are separate and it allowed those without small children to sleep in. The home was beautiful and exactly as described. We liked the location as the beach was not crowded. We got to see a lot of wildlife and found some shark teeth on the beach which was fun!

Our family of 15 stayed at this house for the 2nd year and absolutely love it. The outside deck is perfect after a long day at the beach and also for coffee and sunrises. The beach access is wonderful.

Was an excellent place. My Family had a wonderful time. The only thing is that the propane grill needs attention and cleaning.

We had the best sibling reunion ever! The house was clean, comfortable and roomy. There was plenty of space for the 10 of us. The ocean view from the second floor was so gorgeous! We had our coffee there every morning. The private beach access was such a plus and the close proximity to St. Augustine was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay at Butler Beach. It was really great to be so close to the beach, and sitting out on the porch in the afternoons was wonderful. There was plenty of space for our large group to spread out, and we liked having the two kitchens to use. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of warm water for showers. The rental agency was very quick to respond when we had some questions about the locks and about the garbage pick-up schedule. Wi-fi was good in the common living spaces but we found it a little spotty in the bedrooms. Great stay - we would definitely come back.

This house was incredible! Super kid friendly and it was decorated for Christmas for us! We can’t wait to rent it again.

It was very spacious, grocery store another things weren't too far away, and big enough and very accommodating for big groups. And very beautiful scenery.

Barefoot Hideaway was the perfect destination for our family Thanksgiving. We had plenty of room for our family of 15 that included our “Super Seven” grands. The kitchens were stocked with everything we needed, and it was so nice to have two of them to prepare our feast. Everyone enjoyed exploring the beach and St Augustine. When we had a microwave issue, the hosts were amazingly quick to respond over a busy holiday. Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach paradise with our family.

We rented the entire home and it was great. Property manager was very responsive and resolved issues very timely. Would stay again!!

Barefoot Hideaway was perfect for our large group of friends - we had 12 people and had plenty of space. The kitchens were surprisingly well stocked and we were able to cook several meals at the house. It was a short drive to everything and so easy to get to the beach. The beach was perfect - not too crowded, compacted sand so it wasn't blowing everywhere, and big waves!

We rented this house for our wedding party of 17 people. It was cheaper for all of us to stay in this house than it was for all of us to get a hotel room. It was absolutely perfect in every way. Everyone had more than enough room. We even did our “first look” on the boardwalk to the beach! I will never forget this experience here. Highly recommend!!

We had a great time with our family in this property. It was fully stocked with everything we needed. Direct access to the beach was amazing. We did find it frustrating to arrive at the property with our groceries shortly before the check-in time and told that we had to sit and wait until exactly 3 on the clock for the code to work on the door.

There was plenty of space for our large group to spread out. Wonderful common areas to spend time together and the two kitchens made cooking so much easier. Can not beat the location and we enjoyed every day by the beach.

Our second year returning to the St. Augustine area and the Barefoot Hideaway. It was better than we remembered with updated mattresses and furniture. Our large party of 18 had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our time together. This was a great place for our elderly members as well as our young. Having always visited the Gulf, I had always heard the Atlantic ocean was not a place to bring small kids but this location exceeds our expectations. Sand is soft and flat making it easy to transport our beach toys and equipment via our private boardwalk. Same boardwalk makes it easy to escape sun for lunch or afternoon nap. Tide pools in the afternoon gave us a place to allow our young ones to explore safely. Large porches make dinning overlooking the ocean relaxing and a great place for nightly games. Many amenities provided like pack-n-play, air mattresses, extra sheets and blankets made it so convenient. Close to several grocery stores, tourist attractions and outlet shopping for rainy day alternatives. Definitely a place we will visit again next year!

The 2 units were clean, although some of the walls could use painting due to scuff marks from prior renters Our family group of 16 had to split up between units and although there was plenty of sleeping space we would have rathered 1 big house to be together. The kitchen Definately lacked counter space and serving dishes but bathrooms were efficient The bottom unit lacked ocean views but the top porch was very nice. From the bottom unit one can hear walking and noise from upstairs I wouldn’t want to rent bottom unit with another family upstairs Awesome laundry room and enough towels for all.

There were 4 family groups with 14 people ranging in age from 8 to 75. Plenty of room, great gathering areas, fantastic beach. Highly recommend this place.

The family celebrated grandma's 80th birthday. She was able to relax comfortably in a beautifully appointed home, gorgeous views, with plenty of space for the grandchildren to stretch their legs steps away at the beach.

We enjoyed ocean views and beautiful sunrises each morning from the upper deck/ lower porch! There was enough room for our family, ages 5 thru 86 yrs. The home is close to St Augustine and surrounding area! The kitchen was well stocked and there was lots of space to eat inside and out! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!
