We stayed in the adjoining room to the main room, which is this listing although its not mentioned. Both the adjoining and this room have the same passcode we accidentally found out, which my mom found unsettling. The room was very clean. The room is across the street from the beach and equivalent to about a block or two into the complex, so not on the beach as i thought feom the pictures. The room was well air conditioned, we had easy parking and it was comfortable. Down the street from some beach bars and the beach across the street had lawn chairs and umbrellas that seemed to be okay for anyone to use although i layed in the sand. A nice spot overall.

Great spot, close to everything. Kids loved the pool, and beach was super convenient access. Had everything we needed for a short 2 night stay. Slept 2 comfortably, was a little tight with 2 adults and 2 kids, but we made it work. Would stay again- thanks!

Cutest little studio. Clean and the bed was comfortable. Quiet little place. Elevator had some issues but it was a short 2 flights, not bad at all. I will definitely keep this on my list for 2 people next time!

Was nice

The actual surfaces: bedding, floors, shower, toilet: were actually very clean. The walls looked as if a small child or animal had literally climbed the walls. Ceiling fan and fire sprinkler head, dusty and dingy. Only one shower head worked, as others have said, sink faucet with very low pressure. The one and only entrance is a sliding glass door with metal lock, secondary interior safety lock did not function. Curtains and bed frame of daybed were filthy and soiled. Again, linens and pillows and touch surfaces were clean, so it worked. It felt like a clean-dirty if that makes sense. The shampoos and soaps smelled amazing and felt of high quality. There was a green substance in the ice cube trays, looks like leftover attempt to make Jell-O shots maybe? Slightly concerning they were present on my arrival. No coffee provided, and not advised until check in time. Property is immaculate and safe. Beach entry and amenities like pools were stellar. I messaged my feedback to owner who expressed appreciation and commented that they are currently looking to get the whole unit redone. I would stay again, but with more realistic expectations of the space. I beached it virtually the whole time, and only showered and slept with a total of 8 hours in the unit on my overnight stay.

Nice room, a little small but adequate, although an outside area for sitting (private) would have been nice. Excellent location across a busy street from a beautiful beach with a shady gazebo to sit in and next to a jet ski rental! Anna Maria Free Shuttle takes you up and down the island and runs every 20 minutes, with a stop very close by. Walking distance to the "Bridge Street" shopping and dining block!

It should be noted that the front door is the only window in the apartment. This mean that the curtain always had to be closed. Because everyone can see into the room. Photos should be updated as some of them are not correct. Very small kitchenette. For 3 people there were only 2 plates, 1 bowl, 2 glasses and 2 cups and cutlery for one person. You had to wash up in the bathroom. I would like to have a clothes horse.

Place is at an amazing property but needs serious TLC & maintance....A couple examples: only sink had just a tiny stream of warmish water, only place for clothes to hang was above coffee pot area, only place for luggage was the floor, only window/door is a slidding glass & doorway is partially covered by the many handprints cloth arm of the daybed...Simple care/fixes would really help.

Clean and quiet relaxing atmosphere.

Water pressure was low. Hot and cold water were switched.

My biggest complaint is that there was no where comfortable to sit. I thought the daybed was a couch but it was not good for sitting on. The rest of the place was fine, but the living room/bedroom was small. Will, the property manager, was great. Location was wonderful.

The condo is extremely small but is a very short walk to the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. I probably wouldnt sta/y there again since I like to have more space where the kitchen isnt in the bathroom.

Although clean unit needs updated. Stained, outdated furniture and small refrigerator/microwave in bathroom closet. No water view and “private pergola” across street behind sand dune. Overall disappointed but you get what you pay for!

We used both the queen bed and the pull out and both were very worn and sunk in the middle. One of the pillows smelled horrible and made me wonder if the sheets were even changed. Nice big bathroom, but the walls in the main room were poorly painted. That wouldn't have made a huge difference but it did add to the overall feeling that it's not a very clean place. We only stayed one night

Perfect location place was awesome

We loved everything about this lovely place!! We stayed here for 5 nights. The location is awesome, with the beach right across the street! The host Will was wonderful at communicating with us regarding the check in procedure etc. It's a wonderful place to stay! Also, the trolley stops right out front, and we took it from one end of the island to the other shopping. Awesome place with beautiful grounds and pools!

Tortuga inn is in a perfect location with good facilities and fantastic swimming pool we would definitely stay there again. The condo that we rented is privately owned and nothing to do with Tortuga although it's in their complex. The way the condo is advertised is misleading. We knew it was only one room with one bed and a pull down bed that sleeps four people with shower and bathroom and a small kitchenette with all towels provided.This was perfect for the two of us for two weeks What it didn't say was there's no wardrobe space at all we had to hang our clothes in the 3ft x 3ft kitchen. Only provided 2 cups 1 knife fork and spoon 1 drinking glass 2 plates No bowls Also no kitchen sink had to use bathroom sink to wash minimal kitchen wear(not hygienic in my opinion) We have been visiting Anna Maria anualy since 1997 renting various accommodation from two bedroom to five bedroom properties. This is our first time in a one bedroom and it was disappointing. There is nothing wrong with the condo as long as it's advertised correctly, not misleading and priced accordingly. This is a true reflection of our stay and not a complaint.It didn't spoil our stay at all. Hopefully this review will help others who visit this lovely island to choose correctly and hopefully the owner will upgrade things accordingly.

Clean property, but small. but location makes it worth it

It is a studio so on the small side but you don’t spend a lot of time in room on vacation. Great location on beach and within walking distance of many restaurants.

This is the perfect spot to spend a couple of days by the beach. Easy parking, across the street from a beautiful beach, and just down the street from shopping and restaurants. The extra beds were very comfortable and the bathroom area is huge. We have family close by so we definitely plan to return.

Nothing fancy but clean and good location across from the beach. Nice pool area and secure parking with a trolley stop nearby. Good value for the money.

Flexible cancellation policy appreciated. Warm welcome from host. Great communication on check-in. Made a dream affordable for me. Pool facilities superb as well as ease of beach access. Trolley stops right there. Had to arrive early and could use beach and pool and he explained how to figure out parking situation. Want to come back at least once next year!! Safe and secure.

Communication with owner very good, easy to find in a great location on the island. Condo was clean with all amenities required for our stay. Cross the street and you are on the beach with use of sunbeds, nice pool for chilling out. Kitchen area was a little small but let’s face it who wants to be in the kitchen when your in Anna Maria island. Definitely would come back
