This is a quirky family run hotel with bags of character. Lovely staff with a super sense of humour and high standards throughout. It's not great luxury, but it's not anonymous - and that's what we wanted. The breakfasts are great - very good for a French establishment with fruit, fruit salad, cheese, ham and eggs to boil all in addition to coffee, croissants, bread jam and juice. We loved the hotel and its staff who provided great info about eating out (it has a partner restaurant but none of its own) and tourism practicalities. It's brilliant located, 5 mins easy walk from the station and set back from the road so very quiet. It's 150 yards from the castle at Blois so great for tourism in this delightful town. Totally satisfied with our choice. Also the sanitation was modern and very well maintained with new shower, washbasins and toilet and plentiful hot water.

Ability to look after our suitcases when we couldn't be in the room.

The noise of the cars on the road outside our window. We couldn't keep the window open whilst we tried to sleep. No fridge. We had wanted to keep a bottle of water cold.

Madame very hospitable and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Location convenient for Chateau and restaurants.

Bedroom was awful small and bed against wall made it difficult to get up in night.

The hotel is well located and all the main cultural sites. The owner is very kind. The rooms are comfy and beds good.

Charming boutique hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was really clean. Lovely little outdoor terrace where the staff will serve you drinks from the bar. I will definitely come back to this hotel next year.
