What a wonderful stay we had at the Penthouse on Lycabettus Hill. The property is in a perfect location. Local restaurants, markets, shops, and bakeries are just a short walk away; all historical monuments, museums other districts are a quick uber or taxi service. The penthouse is clean, comfortable, spacious, and peaceful. We were lucky that one evening Panathinaikos F.C. (local premier/professional soccer/football team) were playing a friendly match vs. Rayo Vallecano (Spain-La Liga) the city truly came to life and the atmosphere was just amazing! Just an incredible experience to witness and be part of. The host “Dimitris” is probably the best premier host that i have ever met through Vrbo. His communication was 5 star and he helped us with all necessary transfers to and from ATH airport. He was so welcoming when we checked in with fresh fruit, cold water, wine, and coffee. He sat us down and helped us navigate the area, went over the best places to visit and how to get there. He made us feel like we were part of his extended family. The property was perfect for us. We were a party of 6…no one under the age of 17. We were comfortable, never crowded, and the swimming pool was a wonderful bonus to help with the summer Athens heat. The A/C worked perfect and kept the house cool and comfortable during the day. Overall it was a 5 star experience. The views from the private terrace and pool area are worth the stay all within itself. Thank you again Dimitris, we will be back!!!

Nice penthouse on the top two floors of an apartment building on the east side of Lycabettus Hill (a big park across the street). It was away from the busy tourist areas but within 1/2 mile from many nice neighborhood restaurants to the west. It had easy access to the downtown sites and we were also within a 1/2 of the City-Sightseeing bus stop 8 (by the National Gallery). The penthouse was beautiful and very well furnished. The layout was nice and huge balconies everywhere! Maybe 5! The host was very welcoming and was very quick to help us with WiFi. Great location to reach popular tourist areas, only 5 euro to most places by taxi/Uber. I would definitely recommend!

Dimitri was very accomodating. He had a very nice welcome to our trip. The pool was amaizing! The only feature that needs a little work is the stairs to the pool. I think there needs to be a hand rail for going up and down the stairs as the third bedroom is upstairs. But overall the apartment is amaizing and we would highly reccomend it!

Great location just far way enough from major attractions that you could escape when it was time to relax back at the home. Backs to a park with trails for exercise or relaxation. The upstairs pool area had a great view and plenty of room to sit and enjoy the pool and surroundings. Safe to walk around. Spacious and open layout.

What a wonderful stay we had here for 3 nights. We wished we could have stayed longer ! 4 adults in our party. This place is roomy and the pool and pool area really make it special. Wonderful view of the city and many plants and trees lining the whole rooftop. The apartment itself feels like home with books , pictures and ornaments everywhere. Very clean and very comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped and we gave the Nespresso machine a good workout :). We set out to explore Athens at 8am and got back around 3pm. So great to relax in and by the pool after a day exploring the city. We didn’t want to leave and spent two evenings there after ordering in food. Really quiet and peaceful neighbourhood directly across from all the trees on Mount Lycabettus. Dimitris and Katerina were excellent hosts. So helpful and stocked the fridge for us on the first day !! (We took Dimitris advice and went to Cafe Avassinia - fantastic service , food and an unbelievable view of the Acropolis from the rooftop terrace. ) I highly recommend this penthouse for a stay in Athens. It is truly a one of a kind place!

Our hosts Dimitris and Katerina were very responsive and helped us in any way they could both prior to checkin and during our stay. We checked in on a late on a Saturday and supermarkets are closed in Athens on Sunday, so they stocked the fridge full of milk, cheese, bread, etc. so that we would have breakfast the following morning. This thoughtfulness was very much appreciated. The apartment itself was a dream. The beds were comfortable, it has A/C so we could sleep well at night in our rooms, plenty off cooking supplies, laundry facilities etc. The two outdoor sitting areas and the pool at this apartment are it's BEST feature and of course we were close to all the attractions. The views were amazing and the cool night time breezes were lovely. Thank you for everything Dimitris and Katernina.

My wife and our two teenage daughters travelled to Athens from the US. Immediately after the booking, Dimitris was very communicative and eager to make our stay perfect. He and Katerina met us at the door to check us in and gave us a full tour. The penthouse looks exactly like the pictures. The lighting and amenities are all great in this luxurious apartment. The kitchen had everything we needed. Water pressure was wonderful with plenty of hot water. Location was great. Quiet and upscale area within walking distance of Lycabettus hill and the best views in Athens. I’ll be recommending this spot to friends coming to Athens!

The penthouse was spectacular! We traveled as a family of 4 with 2 children ages 9 and 11. My kids didn't want to leave the flat to explore Athens because of the fabulous private pool. The night swimming with the views of the lights of the city was perfection. After a long day of exploring Athens in the hot sun there was nothing that sounded better than cool dip in the pool. My husband and i really enjoyed the balconies to relax and unwind from all the activities in the city. The area felt safe and was just far enough away from the intense hustle of the city to make you feel at home. Dimitris was extremely hospitable and very helpful with orienting us to the local grocery store, area attractions and arranged transfer to and from the airport. He was a perfect host and has thought of all the details including enough food for breakfast and lunch, coffee, some beer and wine, shampoo, conditioner, soap, washer, dryer and a water filter. The flat is spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the items you need to prepare meals with ample seating options for indoor or out. I highly recommend this place and I can't imagine there being a better place to stay as a family in Athens. We made so many happy memories. Thank you so much Dimitris! This was a trip of a life time!

At the base of Mount Lycabettus, this penthouse villa looks north (so you don't see the Acropolis from the property, but you have an expansive view of the city and mountains to the North, East, and West). It's a challenging but stimulating hike to the summit of the mountain (with several paths to the top), the highest point in Athens, and from here you see EVERYTHING (and a nice restaurant at the top for a cold beverage or libation to reward the effort). Dmitris, our host, could not have been more accommodating and friendly. He spent time with us, doing his best impression of the dad in My Big Fat Greek Wedding ("That's from the Greek word, ecos, meaning home..." haha). The apartment is very spacious, and six of us were very comfortable there for our three nights. He stocked the refrigerator for us, since we arrived on a day and time the markets were closed, and we shared a nice meal together (take-out, which he ordered from a local favorite restaurant and provided enough food for nearly three meals). We enjoyed the sun deck and pool on the top floor, the internet worked well, and, aside from a minor maintenance hiccup (which Dmitiris immediately and personally addressed) the apartment was perfection. Would definitely stay with Dmitris again!

Ce penthouse est idéalement situé sur la colline Lycabettus. Juste une petite route à traverser et nous voilà dans la pinède habitée par les cigales où cheminent des sentiers empruntés par des promeneurs et des sportifs. A son sommet, vue imprenable sur Athènes et coucher de soleil inoubliable. A 10 mn à pied commerces, bars, restaurants, petite place ombragée, nous plongent dans la vie des athéniens. Cet appartement attique est strictement fidèle au descriptif. Rien ne manque et on s'y sont très vite comme "chez soi" Accueil très chaleureux de Dimitri qui après la visite prend le temps de nous conseiller sur les lieux à visiter, les restaurants, commerces... et reste toujours disponible pour le moindre besoin. Ah! et la piscine! Quel bonheur de la retrouver pour s'y rafraîchir au retour de nos visites. Si vous voulez vivre à Athènes en famille ou entre amis, en dehors du tumulte de la ville, nous vous recommandons vivement cette prestation.

Dimitris, the owner, was the most accommodating host we could ever hope to have! He provided us with the most details before our arrival, met us personally at the residence for check in, printed our tickets for our ferry and had them delivered. Also, personally arranged our transfer to our ferry!!! His Penthouse with the rooftop pool was breathtaking! The Pictures cannot even do it justice! Beautiful and safe area with all the amenities you could need, and if there was anything else we needed he was only a phone call away. If you want to experience Athens to the fullest this is by far the only place to stay!

Dimitris was a great host and the property was incredible. One of the best places I have stayed at! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.
