Fully equipped (big kitchen, washing machine, comfortable bed) with all we needed for self contained stay. We carried our food supplies (milk, coffee etc) which is generally how we travel on road trips, so that side of things was all good for us. Loved hearing the rain on skylight, as it was rainy on our one night stay (so no star gazing but i imagine it would be amazing if it was clear!). Relaxing and quiet. Jim welcomed us on site and was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely like to stay again.
No dislikes. This is a great spot.

Such a lovely setting. A modern newly built detached unit in the grounds of the owner’s property but not overlooked and giving total privacy. Exceptionally well equipped and furnished. lovely and quiet and very comfy

Location, cleanliness, facilities, size of the cottage, comfortable bed, hosts what more can one say.

The picture on the internet doesn't do it justice. It's was much bigger than we thought. The accommodation was very modern and clean. It had all the mod-cons including cooker and washing machine. TV also had Netflix and thus, very good Wifi. Comfy bed (there are 2 bedrooms)and sofa. The location was pretty good and it's a very nice drive to the NP. It's also very quiet.

Lovely modern, spacious, clean cottage in beautiful surrounds. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly hosts. It would make a great base for exploring Mt Cook, and spacious enough to comfortably accommodate two couples.

Perfect stay! Easy check in, beautiful new house and exceptionally clean. We travelled around the south island for two weeks and this was hands down our favourite accommodation of the trip. The view outside is also incredible.

We loved our overnight stay here after a long day tramping at Mt Cook Village. Gorgeous modern cottage with everything you could need. Very cosy and warm. If in Twizel Mahina cottage is the place to stay.
