Very easy check in and check out. The property was in a quiet location with little to no street noise. The lake was active with wildlife including herons, limpkins, and eagles; on the dock and in the tree. Occasionally we saw people fishing from their boats, people water skiing, and float planes landing and taking off on the lake. The property was close but not too close to grocery stores, restaurants, and parks. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return again some day.

We had a wonderful time. We loved the fenced in yard for our dog. The home was well stocked and convenient to everything. The cypress garden ski club was practicing on Lake Rochelle and gave us quite a ski show. Loved listening to the numerous birds. We saw an owl, eagles, and a small gator.

The Seeley’s were very attentive and responsive to our needs. And the fishing ain’t bad either!

Nice place to kick back, unwind and enjoy nature. Bass fishing from dock was great. Caught several between 3 and 4 lbs. Home was cozy and well stocked. Any supplies needed were just 10 mins away (Publix, ABC, Wal-Mart). Communication with owner (Taryn) was easy and seamless. All worked out great and all had great time during our 9-day stay. Highly recommend. Thank you!

We truly enjoyed our vacation at your home on the lake. We we were only a few minutes from our son. My husband cought several fish even caught a gator while fishing. We would definatly stay here again. Thank you Taryn and vrbo.

We had great stay, the property description was exactly as listed. Great place if you have dogs, they thoroughly enjoyed the large fenced in yard. This home was very well equipped with everything we needed including dishes, cookware, binoculars, large fenced in yard as well as a dock for fishing, viewing birds, including eagles, and a few gators! Owners were very communicative throughout our stay of 3 weeks. We loved having the garage to keep our bikes safe as well! All in all, a great home!!!

We stayed here in January. It was our second stay in this home. The Seeley's are wonderful to rent from. The lake and the fenced in yard for our dog are the reasons we stayed here. The house is well stocked. It is in a good location, very convenient to all stores and many restaurants. We seen some pretty cool wildlife. An Eagle and Otters hung around the dock at times. Overall, a nice place to stay!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the lake house. The owners were very attentive and accommodating. We rented a pontoon for a day on the lakes and enjoyed exploring the area. Our puppy loved the fenced in back yard! Almost every day we had one or two bald eagles land on the dock and hang out. Nice location close to everything, yet far enough away to experience the natural beauty of the lake. Very quiet neighborhood!

Super friendly hosts, kitchen has all you need and more. Lots of space for the kids to spread out. The pier out to the lake would need an overhaul at some point in time, but was still good for fishing.

The house was everything we expected it to be and more. The kitchen was roomy and well equipped. In our 19 day stay we only ate out one time. The kitchen served us well. The master suite area was large and also had a walk in closet. The beds were very comfortable. The master bath was also large and pretty. We caught the attention of the neighbor one day and enjoyed visiting with them off and on during our visit. To be clear, we approached the neighbor to visit, not the other way around. We enjoyed 2 walks per day through the neighborhood with our dog. Nice scenery with the flowers and Spanish moss. We also surprisingly really enjoyed bird watching. So many beautiful birds including a bald eagle. The owners accommodated an early check in and were responsive and available though out our stay.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Seeley Lake House. My Aunt recently turned 82 and this was the first vacation she had been on since 1959. She said she wouldn't have changed a thing about the house. She loved seeing the Eagle every morning, watching the boats and skiers in the lake, and all the various birds. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to fix big family meals. Also, Taryn was very helpful providing information on places to visit or eat around town. I see a return to the Seeley Lake House in the future.

This is our third year staying in the Seeley’s house during Sun ‘n Fun. We love it! It has just the right amount of privacy for two business colleagues. It would be perfect for a family, too. Taryn is wonderful to work with and we ended up staying an extra night. She made that very simple! Thank you, Taryn, see you again next year!

The Lake House in Winter Haven was comfortable and cozy. The view of the lake is so pretty and relaxing. Everyday we watched planes land on the lake and take off again. We also enjoyed the daily visit of the resident bald eagle. The house is located on a quiet street and is furnished comfortably especially with the well-stocked kitchen. The Selleys were great to work with and even provided us with ideas for special activities going on in the community. Thank you for sharing your lovely lake home with us!

OMG..... that was my first impression upon arriving to the Seeley's lake house. The house is amazing. Locate on Lake Rochelle, this place was perfect for our much needed winter vacations. Super quite neighborhood, and close to the town amenities (Walmart, Longhorn, supermarkets, etc.) , the property was very clean and well maintained. The extra amenities of canoe, and small fishing pole, really made our stay especial!!! (Having never gone fishing before...) Communication with owner was super fast and efficient. Would recommend to anyone looking to spend a great stay (at an amazing price also!) away from the noise and craziness of Orlando and surrounding areas. Thank you!!! Eddie

I loved this place! Beautiful views, quiet neighborhood, and very peaceful. The house is adorable and fully stocked with just about anything one could need. The owners were very kind and quick to respond to my emails. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

I cannot recommend this enough! I had the best time staying at the Seeleys' house while attending Sun 'n Fun 2017 as an exhibitor. What a wonderful thing to come home every evening after a full day of work at the show and find such tranquility and beauty in the back yard. After the first day, my feet were so blistered and sore I could barely walk, and I was ever grateful to find Band-Aids in the cabinet. Such a small thing seems insignificant, but it meant the world to me because that Band-Aid allowed me to walk in comfort on day two! I spoke with the Seeleys on several occasions during my stay because they wanted to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. We became friends along the way, not something that happens every day when renting a house for a week. The house was clean, well-appointed, and I enjoyed the wildlife. The last day of the show, I unexpectedly purchased an airplane which meant I needed to go home to Oregon on the scheduled day, then fly back to Florida three days later to pick up my plane. This meant I needed to spend one more night in Florida after I returned, and the Seeleys were gracious enough to provide the house for another night. They said I could just leave my things there during the three days I was gone so I wouldn't have to carry things back and forth. The last night was great, and a much-welcome night of rest before a 3,500-mile cross country trip back to Oregon in a single-engine, 90 HP airplane. I enjoyed sharing my adventure with the Seeleys! Personal touches mean a lot, and this house felt like home from the minute I walked in. I highly recommend not only the house, but the owners as well. They know how to make you feel welcome and appreciated! Thank you, Florida Seeleys!! You're the best!

This lake property was just what we were looking for to spend January days in Fla just soaking up the sunny weather! The fenced in yard was perfect for my Dads small dog. Subdivision has flat roads to walk on. It is close to so many things to do......would be fabulous place for summer to come for all activities on the lake! Owners are easy to work with also! We sure hope to return next year! We so enjoyed our stay! Jana

Our stay turned out to be much longer than anticipated because of home closing complications. The house gave us a good respite from our move from out of state and a great place from which to explore our new surroundings. We had literally everything we needed to feel at home with the bonus of a lake to watch as it changed its moods from serene to stormy. Mrs. Seeley was very flexible and kind to accommodate our circumstances, even welcoming our dog and cats. The completely fenced yard was a great convenience, and the lovely terra cotta tile floors throughout provided a cool ambience. The bathrooms have lovely tiled decor, again with everything you need. The house is a tri-level with plenty of room, but be aware that there are lots of stairs if you want the use of the entire house. If you like bird watching, the Seeleys thoughtfully provide binoculars and birding books for identifying the birds that frequent the lake. The house is on a quiet cul-de-sac in a neighborhood good for walking. Winter Haven is easy to navigate. This was our first taste of central Florida and we're glad we found the Seeleys.

We loved our 20 days at this lakefront rental while we awaited our closing on our home! The three levels gave each of us our own space and the beautiful bathrooms made it feel like a retreat! My kids loved the canoe and kayak and fishing equipment and the dogs loved the fully fenced yard. My favorite part was watching the World Barefoot Center ski right off the property almost every day. We ate most of our dinners on the back porch to enjoy the beautiful wildlife and scenery even though it was hot being the middle of summer. Communication from the owners was outstanding, and their hospitality truly made it feel like home. Thank you!!

The house is lovely - the Mexican tile is beautiful. The accommodations were perfect and we loved our lake-side view.
