Lovely view nice little township

Really enjoyed our stay in Penguin. Accommodation was lovely and had all the facilities we needed. Great walking paths along the beach. Would return one day when back in Tassie.

Beautiful property, very well appointed, lovely location

This property didn’t disappoint. Plenty of space for us all and extremely well looked after house. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the front verandah watching the waves comes in.

We came frome Germany and after we did the Overland Track we looked for a place to relax some days. We found here the perfect place. The house is so cozy and lovingly furnished. All rooms are perfect equiped and so clean. Special the kitchen is so highly equiped....i would give more then five stars if possible. The house is located in a quiet area, just a few minutes walk to the town centre. You can sit outside on the terrace and enjoy the ocean view, or in the garden which offers you shadow. We felt very well there and can highly recommend this place

Great weekend was had by all

We were two retired couples on a road trip in Tassie. Penguin was our last stay before heading back to Qld. We’d picked out the Penguin Beach House when searching online. It seemed to have everything we wanted. As it turned out it offered more! Such an incredibly well appointed home and so comfortable. The list of those things that make a stay more comfortable we’re endless. I wish all short term accommodation options available were as great as this home! The owners deserve congratulations and our thanks.

Just a great home with plenty of space and all amenities that you need. A great home to stay with family or friends- highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to unwind for a few days.

An amazing property! Clean, modern and the owners have thought of everything you need for an amazing stay. There was only two of us staying there, but the house would be amazing for a family as well. We loved Pengiun, make sure you do the beach drive from this house to Ulverstone, awesome!

Scenic views of the ocean from the property. Great amenities, very spacious rooms with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Short stroll to shops. Highly recommended.

It's a great house, exceptionally furnished with super sea views in a quiet location and Penguin's well up to nice shops and cafes. Apples from the garden beat anything youll find in the shops and the pears are good too if you give them a couple of days to soften. Take a moment to talk to the guy next door - he used to work in the tourist office and knows what's real vs what's pumped up.

Renting was simple. Access easy. Communication with owners very friendly. Proximity to shops was within walking distance. Adequate cooking facilities. More than adequate crockery and glassware. Perfect place to base so you can drive to and from each day

This property was lovely. Well presented, warm and cosy, well appointed. It allowed ready access up and down the Tassie north-west.

Everything about the house was wonderful which made our stay there very comfortable. Great beds, efficient heating and all the thoughtful touches such as the heat lamps in the bathrooms. Beautiful sunrises and fabulous view. Easy walk to town. 10/10

The house is exceptionally well designed and set up for two families to stay. More than enough for self catering, crockery, cutlery, excellent BBQ etc. Easy walking to beach and shops and great spaces to relax on the deck, garden and undercover outside room.

The moment we walked into the Penguin Beach House, we knew it was something special! It's in a beautiful, peaceful location just across the road from the beach (you can see the ocean and hear the waves from the bedroom) and everything in the entire house is so beautiful and thoughtful — from the quality kitchenware, to the softest couch, the fluffy Sheridan towels and robes, to the cozy wood fireplace and the beds which can be custom-heated to your desired temperature (it can get a bit chilly at night). We used it as a base to explore Northern Tasmania and couldn't wait to get back each night to make dinner, curl up by the fire and play some boardgames. The entire house is also drenched in the most beautiful sunlight in the mornings and late afternoon.As a professional travel writer, I've stayed at countless rental properties and hotel rooms before, but this one is my favorite. We have never been sadder to leave a property — could not recommend it more and will book again soon!

We had an awesome stay at Penguin Beach House with friends. The place was amazing, perfect little getaway, in every way. The house was opposite the water, short stroll into town, close to the main highway and the house had everything you would love to have in your own home. Decore was simple and stylish, ample sleeping, and the pictures in the ad, are exactly what we found. To look at the ocean while cooking and sleeping, was an absolute pleasure. We'll be back!

No problems at all. Easy access. There was only 1 thing that could be changed and that is: the loose mats in the bedrooms are a trip hazard.
