We arrived after a very long and tiring flight from Australia , only to be greeted by the warmest welcome from Irma and Paul our hosts. They made us feel right at home straight away.
Their warmth and attention to detail is one of the best in all the very many B&B’s we have stayed in world wide.
We wanted for nothing, Irma made sure that we were so comfortable as a family and welcomed us as if we were their own family.
The property is stunning, the garden is a beautiful oasis. We had the most delicious breakfasts.
We were so close to all the shops and when we returned from our day trips , the rooms were emasculated made up.

Al Vida Luka Luxury Guesthouse in Lukasrand Pretoria offered everything that you can expect of a guesthouse plus a lot more. Clean, comfortable, private and quiet. Irma went out of her way to assist us with a rather difficult situation by cleaning and moving a fridge to her garage for us to use for meat we had to keep cool during our 2 day stay. She showed real interest and compassion for my husband who had an operation in Jacaranda Hospital. We arrived as strangers and parted as friends! Rita van Molendorff

immaculately presented guest house with all the home comforts. Paul and Irma looked after us superbly and the home cooked breakfast in the morning was lovely ! 😋😋…. very secure and in an upscale neighbourhood. Highly recommended. Sat in the beautiful garden in the evening with a glass or two of wine enjoying the ambience !!

such a warm welcome after a stressful flight from NZ. Irma and Paul were super friendly and so were the dogs. Very nice breakfast after a comfy sleep.
Our first time in SA so we were a bit ignorant and thought we could walk around freely. Fortunately we had a rental car which you will absolutely need if you stay here.

I recommend contacting the accommodation before arriving. Our arrival was not expected and the room needs to be prepared at short notice. The hosts offered a better room for the same price. That was very nice. The hosts are flexible and helpful.

Everything. Irma and Paul are fantastic hosts and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We felt like part of the family. We had unusual circumstances, but they were incredibly accommodating - nothing was too much trouble, they took great care of us.
The room was lovely and the garden immaculate. The location is very central and just a quick drive to Brooklyn Mall and nearby hospitals.
