The location of the property is wonderful; however, We were made aware the day before our arrival that there was a leak in the master bathroom and we would not be allowed to use the shower or tub in the master bath during our stay. We were told they would be in touch regarding compensation. Since there was 10 people in our group, this made showers difficult to manage during our stay. We waited patiently about compensation and was then told we had to wait until inspection was completed upon checkout. Checked back in 3 different times with them and was told it was being refunded and would take a few days to reflect. That was about two weeks ago and have not received anything or any prior responses. While I understand things happen, it is the principal of the issue that was not addressed properly and made some aspects of our stay not very enjoyable. The only other issue we had was that someone was in one of our allowed parking spots when we arrived for check in and we had no where else to park for a while until we were able to speak with another resident in the building that allowed us to use their spot. That was slightly inconvenient after 12 hours of driving. Overall, the rental was clean and perfect for families. Location to the beach was wonderful.

We recently stayed at a VRBO property managed by iTrip, and overall, it was a decent experience. The location was the highlight, with easy access to the beach and the boardwalk, making it a dream for beach lovers. However, the elevator was out of service during our stay, resulting in lots of stair climbing, which might be challenging for some guests. The broken dishwasher and loose shower door were also minor inconveniences. On a positive note, iTrip's communication was excellent, handled efficiently through text messages. The property itself seemed a bit tired, likely due to the end of the season, but the price we paid for the prime location made it a reasonable choice. It's not the best vacation rental, but it's certainly not the worst, offering good value for those who prioritize proximity to the beach.

Amazing vacation. This is our second year we come here. We love the location, so close to beach, and the boardwalk. Very responsive for any small issues. The place is huge, immaculate. We will be back. We love it, give it 5 stars.

We had a great time! My only suggestion to the owners would be to fix the sliding shower door in the guest bathroom. It’s barely hanging on to the rail. Other than that zero issues. So quiet too with it being an entire floor! Be prepared for the trek since it’s at the very top. Also, the water from the faucets doesn’t smell the best. Not sure if there is anything you can do for that, but don’t be surprised. I think it’s just how it is in the area. 10/10 would stay again!

We just returned from our stay at the Blue Heron and after many trips to Carolina Beach and others alike this is the first place that we truly hated to leave. It checks all of the boxes: cleanliness (literally the first place we’ve ever stayed that we didn’t feel like we needed to re-clean ourselves after arrival), spacious size, comfort (beds and all seating), accessibility to all attractions and the beach (easy walk to everything), a great view of the ocean from the front two decks and of the town from the master bedroom. Not only that but the managing company- iTrips NC is most excellent to work with- not only are they a family run business but they are very accommodating, fast with communication, overly helpful, so kind and welcoming! It was truly the perfect stay!

We had a great time at this property. It is rented through a separate entity, but they were very accommodating. This place was very nice on the inside, clean, and it's location is very convenient to many restaurants and beach access. Not a downside, but just a note. If you plan to drive a large SUV or truck, the parking spots for this place are pretty small.

We LOVE staying at Blue Heron Nest. It has enough room for kids, parents, grandparents to spread out and relax. The location and views cannot be beat!

We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Herons nest! There was 6 adults and 2 kids and there was plenty of room. The elevator for our luggage and such is great! The condo is very clean, beds comfy and furniture well appointed! It's a short walk to beach and the beach is awesome! We would definitely recommend this lovely place at Carolina Beach!

We were very fortunate to have our family come to town and celebrate Thanksgiving! The home was well-appointed, we had all the kitchen appliances, plates, glasses and everything we needed to host Thanksgiving dinner. The couches, indoor and outdoor, were so comfortable and the entire home was incredibly clean. Also, the check-in and checkout process was easy, very communicative and plenty of parking! We will absolutely book again!! Thank you for making our trip memorable!

The Blue Heron Nest penthouse was large and had a private elevator (small but adequate). I-trip was quick to respond to our questions. The carpets were stained in a few spots. It was a convenient spot to walk to the beach or head for ice cream at Squigglys.

We really enjoyed our time at Blue Heron Nest. The house is spacious and as described/pictured. Staff was easy to contact and resolved any issues quickly. The elevator was helpful for older guest and luggage. The location is close to the boardwalk, beach, and lots of restaurants. We are planning on returning next year.

Stayed a week in a spacious and beautifully decorated top floor rental. Very clean with ocean views and short walk to beach. Lots of books, puzzles and some games In bookcase to use as well. Parking underneath building kept car cool too. Easy to use door entry and property management kept in touch and were available if needed.

We had a great time, 5 min walk to Seawitch, Fat Pelicans and The Dive. Across the street from the beach with easy access. Walked on the beach to the pier to have lunch at the Tiki Bar. 8 of us visiting for a girls weekend.

Excellent Location! Loved relaxing on the various patios and watching/listening to the oceans. Very short walk to the beach. Comfortable furniture. Kitchen well stocked with everything you need. Elevator was a plus due to traveling with my 70 year old mother. Hope to be back next year.

So convenient to both beach and boardwalk. The communication with property manager was great. Place was very clean and the decor was nice. The set up was ideal for large family and pretty spacious. Plenty of room to spread out in dining and living area. The decks were great for hanging out on. Elevator was a lifesaver. The stairs to the third floor are rough but worth it for the views from the deck.

Blue Heron Nest is the perfect place for the best family beach trip! There was plenty of room for our 6 adults and 4 kids. The house was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. We loved how close and convenient everything is to this property. I would definitely recommend this pace to anyone looking for a place to stay at the beach and we will certainly be back!!

What a fantastic place with a fantastic view! It was clean, spacious, and offered everything we could possibly need! Put all your luggage on the private elevator and send or take it up to the top floor! It made coming and going so much easier! We hope to definitely revisit this beautiful place again in the future!

Blue Heron is a terrific property. It is roomy for a large family or a couple of families to share. The kitchen has what you need to prepare meals if you choose. It is clean and comfortable. It has amazing views of the ocean from the balconies and you can hear the waves. You have a very short walk to the beach and the wagon and beach chairs were a nice convenience. I highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Heron. It is in a great location. Everything was in close walking distance: beach, boardwalk, the infamously Britt’s donuts, coffee, food, music, etc. The condo is located on the 3rd floor. There is an elevator to take luggage, food, and other items up. We could not figure out how to use it, so we treated the flights of stairs- good exercise! For us, this was not a big deal. The condo was charming. I loved the multiple balconies. The place is spacious enough to give everyone a little quiet space as needed. It was also a great set up for family meals and game nights. All in all, it was a great family vacation!

We had a great weekend staying at Blue Heron Nest. The condo is spacious, very clean, and convenient to both the beach and the boardwalk. The porches were perfect for hanging out and enjoying the wonderful views. Owners were great with communication both before and during the trip. We would definitely stay here again!

The condo was exceptional! Really clean and lots of room. We enjoyed having the two different porches to rest and relax. Comfortable and roomy seating which is always a plus. We will be coming back!!

Enjoyable

This was a nice size for our family of 6. Close to the beach and boardwalk. Covered parking for 3 cars. There was plenty of equipment in the kitchen for all our needs. The towels were soft and absorbent and starter paper products provided were enough for our stay. Our only issue was the stairwell lighting was not working for the first or third floors and resulted in a very dark stairwell since it in enclosed.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The balconies were wonderful, I enjoyed days on the beach and nights on the balcony. The boardwalk and lots of good restaurants are within walking distance. We traveled with our grandchildren so we rented golf carts to get around. This caused a bit of a parking challenge, however once we figured out the parking situation everything went great! We visited during off season so it wasn’t busy and even though there were multiple parking spaces available at the Condo, the HOA will not allow renters to utilize the empty spaces. The rental company was good to keep me informed and offer other solutions so everything worked out fine and we had a great week!

This is a very nice place, we really enjoyed our time there. I would recommend it for anyone that wants to be close to the beach. The unit had all the conveniences of home.

As a family with three young kids, space is always one of our primary concerns when traveling. This condo was just the right size for us; bigger than a hotel room but cheaper than renting out a full house. The owner was very attentive and responsive. And the private elevator was a lifesaver in moving all our gear up and down three stories!

Big place clean and nice 5 min walk to the beach 7 min walk to the boardwalk.

Loved our stay at this beautiful property, Family of six my wife and our son, and daughter and her hubby and our Son and his wife. Plenty of room, next to the beach and couple blocks to all the restaurants and boardwalk, would definitely stay here again. A great time in Carolina Beach
