The apartment is very nice, full of practical details. It has amazing location, few minutes walking from the city walls. The garden is very pleasent, it is great place to relax. We also apprecited nice guide books about the city and the region.

As we expected, the appartment was very small. We spent four nights and it was ok but more could become uncomfortable. We were also a bit dissapointed about the parking. We specifically asked in advance, if there is a free parking on the spot. It is possible to park in the neighborhood but it can be challenging to find a spot. Philipp was mentioning some garage but there were no further instructions, so we parked always in the street. We could have asked and request more info, true, but in the end we akways managed to park in a walking distance plus we would prefer to get all the infornation in advance and the parking automatically available. It seemed complicated to ask for "more" since you take over the key through the password locker on the door.

The studio apartment was well equipped and had absolutely everything you needed. It was very clean and functional, and was thoughtfully decorated. The bed was very comfy and the air con was a very welcome addition! The garden terrace was fabulous - we spent some quiet afternoons catching the rays and then spent the evenings dining outside by candlelight. Although there were other properties around you didn't feel too overlooked. The host, Phillippe, was brilliant - he stopped by the apartment to welcome us when we arrived, and made sure we had everything we needed in the apartment and went through a few housekeeping details. He also spoke to us in depth about everything in the area, as well as providing us with a myriad of booklets and leaflets of attractions in Provence for us to peruse through over the bottle of wine that he kindly left us. The apartment was well worth the money, and I was pleasantly surprised by everything we got for the price. We have always preferred staying in an apartment over a hotel as we have that freedom to come and go as we please and to dine how we wish. Avignon is absolutely beautiful and there is so much to do there. Being only a 10-15 minute walk to get into the city walls, you are very close to city life. The road links from Avignon are also very good so you can get around very easily. I would certainly recommend staying here, and I would confidently say that I would stay here again.

The street itself isn't particularly handsome, and there is nothing around the immediate corner, but it is only a 10-15 minute walk into the city walls to enjoy its atmosphere, and about 5 minutes to a petrol garage where you can pick up some essentials. There is also on-street parking which is a free-for-all; however we didn't struggle too much with finding a space to park.
