Die Lage des Hotels ist Traumhaft. Unser Zimmer 116 (Suite Strandseite) bot eine Top Aussicht auf den Strand und das Meer. Das Zimmer war sehr grosszügig und ideal konzipiert für ein Hotelzimmer. Minibar war vorhanden. Die Mitarbeiter Jérôme, Silvana und Daren waren Top. Das Barbecue am Strand war herrlich, mit Top Service durch Silvana. Das Essen beim Barbecue war sehr köstlich und man bekam mehr als genug.
Der Zimmerservice war zu Beginn hervorragend, wurde aber ab dem dritten Tag schlechter (kein Ersatz für dreckige Hand- und Duschtücher, keine Waschlappen mehr). Das Essen war okay, aber nicht mehr. Am letzten Abend war der Reis kalt und das Curry lauwarm. Viele Mitarbeiter wirkten demotiviert und nicht zuvorkommend.
Im Badezimmer fehlte es an einer Steckdose, an welcher man seinen eigenen Haarföhn einstecken konnte.

L’emplacement près de la mer est idéal.
La chambre commence à vieillir et l’odeur du bois et du vieux se fait sentir quand vous arrivez.
Petite superficie malgré un bel emplacement face a la mer.
Pas de geste commercial de l’établissement après un incident avec le voiturier.

The beach
Staff ignored me and only spoke to my partner in French and Creole despite being made aware that I speak English. My partner could hear staff swearing to and at each other in Creole. There were dirty towels in our room upon arrival, there were bugs crawling in the sugar at breakfast and the food was far below average. We could not get towels for the beach because they were all left out in the rain and were wet. The suite we stayed in was not well appointed and this is not anywhere near being a five star hotel as was advertised. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Everything good, everything magical. one of extraordinary places to stay. I highly recommend this hotel because of its great location and pleasant staff.

good location at the beach, clean rooms and facilities
Staff: Not too friendly
Food: Booked with half board but most of the items on the menu are with a supplement charge (very high - up to 1000 rupees or even more), the food was only mediocre and nothing special.
Breakfast: Menu in the room shows for example 4 varieties of cheeses but daily 2 or max 3 cheese available, never saw the smoked salmon during breakfast even when on the menu, cheap pork ham (not even ham, processed meat only). Pastries or bread didn’t change during our 4 days and was every day the same.
overall, too high for this price. Property wants to be fancy but doesn’t deliver with the food especially with the high prices during dinner. For example a lamb shank is free of charge but duck additional 1000 rupees. Salmon steak also additional cost but tuna steak free in half board.
After 3 or 4 evenings slowly running out of choices.
Staff was ok but not super friendly.

Hotel is great for an escape holiday for ones that seek calm place to relax and enjoy. Stuff was great and very helpful, especially Yona who helped us with everything we needed including organization of my friend's birthday dinner. Thank you again and all recommendations!

The hotel is really nice, pretty and good vibes. Bedrooms are cosy and comfy, with nice views ! And, the 'no kids' is a real plus to be able to relax. The people working there were very nice.
I think that the bathroom needs a refresh, looks old and used, and even more so next to the nice bedroom.

The property was immaculate: clean, gorgeous, well kept, with a great beach. the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The service at the restaurant for dinner was a little bit slow, however, it may have been die to too many guests coming in all at the same time.

Everything amazing.
Great staff, Thierry from the beach team was the best.
The food was fine but not exceptional as expected. All the staff was very nice, but I was disappointed the reception. Long waiting times and they wanted me to pay for Pringles which I never ate (few $ compared to huge room prices). At the end anyway they didn’t charge me for that.

I liked and enjoyed absolutely everything about this hotel. People who work in this hotel are the sweetest human beings I have ever met! I had some small situation when I did not feel well bc of sunburn, and the way how I was treated and everyone took care of me was incredible.
Food is pure heaven!
The hotel has a calm very luxurious atmosphere and when it comes to design, it is just stunning. I felt like I am living in a dream and I cannot wait to come back :)

The beach and ocean views are breathtaking with crystal clear water.
The staff are a credit to the hotel, they all do their best to make sure all your needs are met and more. We received great service particularly from Sylvana, Darren, Dheeraj, Krish, Atisha, Navesh, Mr Baboo and Yona.
The food was very good particularly for dinner.
Free cocktail evening was provided for all guests and afternoon tea and snacks each day.
It's the perfect place if all you want is some peace and quiet in stunning surroundings.
On a few occasions the pillow cases smelt. This was immediately changed when reported however.
There are no shops around the hotel to buy water etc.
It would have been nice if breakfast had been mixed up a bit more as the options got a bit repetitive after a few days.

1. place to be ..the beach was So So beautiful and clean

3. snorkeling spots were really nice
4. room was decorated with simplicity and chic
5. tea time at 4pm free and very good , chocolate in the evening on your pillow ,

It is a shame to be classified as a 5-star resort. Nothing about it is 5-star.
-The resort is obviously old. You could easily tell by a quick look around your room.
-Some staff are friendly but unprofessional, some are unfriendly and unprofessional! "Unprofessionalism is seen everywhere at this resort."
-Major hygiene issues. Dirty sheets, ants inside sugar cubes container, dirty restaurant tables, smelly pillows, etc.
When I told one of the restaurant staff about the ants inside the sugar jar, he replied with a big smile! " Ants love sugar " and moved the jar to another table in front of me!
-Two idiots from Room Services brought a meal I asked for and they were laughing in a childish way for no obvious reason.
-No toothbrush or irioning facilities in the room. When I asked for an iron and a board they provided them just to knock on my room and ask for them back after 4 hours!

It is a boutique hotel. The food was excellent. Room very nice. Beautiful beach, with villas from families from Mauritius.
Only the new years party was quite boring. If you look for party this is the wrong place
As I said before the new years party was boring. People in the hotel do not look for party, than for relax and quietness.
The room was very nice, but some smell from the shower. There is nothing to criticize.

One of the best hotel I’ve stayed in.
Most likely the best beach in the country. when you are there all the other beaches in the country will look average. Really calm and peaceful hotel it’s the best for a relaxing stay. Great location and facilities with complimentary water sport equipment available.
Supportive staff with great room and set up. highly recommend it!
Only downside is the restaurant. They have different restaurant in the same location. My advise is to stay clear from the semi pension as the restaurant ti morris and it’s selection of the day are really not to the level of the hotel I probably ate there my worst dish in many years. In my opinion the breakfast is also not to the hotel’s level and standing you would expect. it’s ok at best.
The Japanese restaurant is good but it’s not the type of food you are looking for in Mauritius.
Don’t get me wrong amazing hotel but the food is not to its level :).

lovely place on a famous coast. a feel at home. staff are trying hard and compensate for the staff who is not at all to the level the place would like to be.
food is not a strength. careful with moskitos. do not compare to Lux or Shangri-La. not at that level yet for the service even if management is trying to compensate for that.

nice beach and location. friendly staff
our room was in need of renovation.
we took HB and the food was 3 out of 5 - frozen local fish for dinner and not freshly baked pastry for breakfast. hotel charges for capsule coffee in the room (we stayed at 4 different hotels during our vacation and this was the only one, where they had the highest prices on minibar and not free coffee in the room)
