It was a very clean homely and comfortable. Helen was easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay and the flowers were very pretty. Thankyou for a lovely stay💕

We came to the hut last year, but were far too busy running around all over the countryside to appreciate what was right here. So we made a promise to ourselves that we would have to come back. And we did. And we are so glad we did! We loved everything about the hut. The views can just take your breath away. And the little touches Helen has added to the hut really make it feel like we were at home. It was so good just to sit back and watch the clouds floating by. Just what we needed!!!

Very pleased all round with our stay. The dwelling is neat, with all luxuries and necessities and the host is more than hospitable and accommodating. Cannot recommend high enough.

It was our first stay at "The Hut". We will definitely be back again. We were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail shown by our host. We had everything needed plus many more. Just to name a few: fresh cut flowers, free range eggs, boscuits, cooking oil. The accomodation is clean and the view is superb!

All the creature comforts of home and thoughtful additional things from the host that makes the stay all the more comfortable.

This property is in a good location with great views. The cottage is clean and comfortable with everything we needed including a cosy pot-bellied fire. Fresh eggs, fresh flowers. Friendly welcome by host. Great surrounding area to explore. Highly recommended.

A very comfortable relaxing stay with amazing views and countless stars during the night. Small personal touches like fresh flowers and fresh eggs added to the stay. A warming fire place for cooler nights was definitely a highlight as well. "The Hut" is a place we could recommend undoubtedly and will definitely return to.

The only problem with this place is that we only got to stay one night. Snug as a bug in a rug with the beautiful wood fire, welcomed by Tony and helpful communication with Helen. This really is a special place we hope to return to one day.

The Hut was perfectly located for our short getaway to Oberon. Cozy, warm atmosphere on a cold weekend. Everything we required was supplied and made us feel at home for our stay.

Our stay at The Hut was absolutely wonderful. The view was breathtaking and Helen was lovely. I highly recommend this.

Unfortunately, due to Covid my partner and I were unable to stay at the property. Helen the host was amazing and allowed our adult children, with their partners, to take our place. She was also very flexible and offered us a rescheduled booking. The kids had a great time and was very comfortable at Helen’s place. Thanks Helen for being so accommodating! We’ll be sure to book again soon we can meet you next time!

The Hut was great for our overnight stay, providing us the necessary ammenities and comforts we needed.

"The Hut" is a great little cottage if you want somewhere to unwind. As soon as you walk in the door, you feel like you're home. Helen has thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. There is an incredible view down the valley towards Bathurst, which looked beautiful in the morning. We assume it would also give spectacular sunsets but we never managed to get our timing right. We wish we were there for more than 2 nights so we could experience more.

Very comfortable- excellent views & close to Mayfield Garden

Such a wonderful place to stay, relaxing, peaceful and wonderful views. Loved the birdlife and the chatty kookaburra in the late evenings and early mornings. It was like they were talking about their day in the evenings and discussing what or where they were going in the morning. The other birds on the lawns during the day. The cattle and calves were around with the newly born calves having fun running around. Rooes and rabbits around. The seat by the small dam was a great get away to sit amongst the trees and just chill. Used "The Hut" as a base tovexplore the area. Fantastic hosts in Helen and Tony. Highly recommended. Will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Hut, Oberon. Ideal location close to Mayfield Gardens and Bathurst with amazing vistas. The Hut was spotlessly clean and well appointed with games and activities for those rainy days. Plenty of wood supplied for the fire made a very cosy stay. We'll be back once La Nina moves on. Booked for overnight stay to attend wedding in Oberon. Only spent a short time there but it was lovely and warm and very clean. Owner had wood fire stoked up when we arrived and came and introduced himself..loverly stay. Thankyou Helen and Tony.

Helen was very welcoming when we arrived for our two night stay. The Hut itself was very spacious and had a delightful outlook and we enjoyed watching the birdlife. It was spotless, very comfortable, particularly the bed and had everything we needed for a self-catered stay. The weather turned on us and so we were very pleased to have the slow combustion fire place. It is ideally situated for a visit to Mayfield Gardens, about 5 kms away.

The Hut is a Gem in the rough. Absolute amazing views, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. We arrived to beautifully maintained gardens, fresh farm eggs and a warm fire ready for our weekend. A big thanx to Helen and Hubby, such lovely Hosts. A+

Perfect spot for exploring the area, everything you need, beautiful outlook, clean, tidy and kept toasty warm by the fire so thoughtfully prepared by Helen on arrival. Helen also very generously offered to get it going the next afternoon. 5 minutes from Mayfield garden was a bonus for a big delicious breaky. Highly recommend for a comfy stay in a beautiful little town.

We had a wonderful stay at The Hut. Our host Helen was very informative and made our stay so enjoyable. The home was perfect for a family of 4 and the views from the lawn were magnificent. Highly recommends as a base for anyone wanting to explore the central west.
