Steve and Di have created a beautiful property. The house is very well equipped and comfortable. You could happily spend the weekend on the deck admiring the view. The garden is lovely and was enjoyed by us as well as our dog.

We had a fantastic time at Fairhaven. The view over the ocean is beautiful and we spent a lot of time on the deck! The main bedroom upstairs is very luxurious and the property is very well maintained. So great that dogs are allowed and the property is fenced - our whippets loved their beach getaway. We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at Brynmawr. We loved the spectacular view especially from the upper bedroom floor, the surrounding gardens, the lovely taste in styling and the overall feel of this home. The wood fire heater quickly warmed up the living area as it was mid winter during our stay. Easy walk up to the lighthouse and Fairhaven beach. Well situated too. Steve is the perfect host. Always happy to answer questions and make live easier for you as a guest. Would happily stay at this property again.

We just sat and relaxed as soon as we came into this lovely home. The view is mesmerising and makes you just want to stay and enjoy the house. We did venture to the off leash dog beach each day and were rewarded by the joy that playful dogs and the ocean gives. The house was very well set up for visitors and the hosts ensured we had everything we needed and were having a good time. We will be back.

The location and facilities are excellent.Communication with the owner also very helpful and good. I guess the only thing I would have liked was full linen service.

Although this property is set back from the beach, it has commanding views and is a short walk to the beach and the lighthouse. The property itself is very beautiful and has a fantastic master bedroom and en suite.

Everything was there that we needed and we had a great stay.

We had a ball the house is amazing. The master bedroom is amazing great views all round. Plenty off room for the kids to. And only walking distance to the beach. Kids loved it and so did we.we will definitely go back again soon thanks

awesome pad for a work retreat and get away for a running event. location is superb! the property is pet friendly and this was fabulous for our little stella. she loved it and the fence made us feel safe. out door hot/cold shower rocked! everything about this place was amazing and we cannot wait to go back there again. perfect for heaps of friends too!

Fantastic beach house with views from the lighthouse to Lorne. Well appointed property with modern kitchen and numerous spaces to relax and enjoy the stay. Upstairs master bedroom and retreat is a high class addition. Property has two outdoor areas taking advantage of the views and, in winter, the afternoon sun.

Spent Friday and Saturday night with a group of friends all competing in a local running event, great house, good location, no problems with the house at all, kept up comfy warm and entertained. Probably book it again next year!

The downstairs has been lovingly restored and we enjoyed sitting by the fire at night and gazing out at the sea during the days. Upstairs is a real treat, a king size bed and a huge bathroom with very modern fittings. We were there with 2 other couples over Easter and we all have babies under 1 so we wanted a roomy comfortable house that we could relax in and not really go anywhere, Brynmawr was perfect for this purpose. A big thanks to Steve (owner) who obviously loves this place and was very helpful during the booking process and also checking during our stay that all was ok. Our cavoodle was made very welcome and he had a great time exploring the garden and lying in the sun. The cafe's at Airey's Inlet are an enjoyable ten to fifteen minute walk from the house.

Great stay from beginning to end. Gorgeous house with an amazing view from the terrace and top bedroom. Also the shower was amazing and the grounds and parrots too. We could have stayed all year! The kids loved it too.

What a property! We were blown away with the views and the homey feeling the place has. The house was clean and fresh. Everything has been thought of. We enjoyed meals on the balcony watching the waves come in and the birds greeting us. We all commented on how comfortable the beds were and the amazing master bedroom. Thanks to Steve for making us feel soo welcomed and always being available if needed.

Brynmawr is absolutely amazing, it has such a relaxed ambiance and has everything you could possibly need to make you feel at home! We loved the wood fire and the big TV - it made us feel cozy at night watching movies. As well as being cozy and homely it is amazingly luxurious! The main bedroom and the bathroom upstairs renovations are truly beautiful with beach views. There is also a small coffee/tea station upstairs so you can have a cup of tea in bed in the morning / at night without having to go downstairs! Brynmawr is one of the very few places on the great ocean road that is dog friendly, which made us feel even more at home because our doggy was there with us! Steve the owner is great to deal with and made our stay extremely stress-free. Fairhaven is only about a 15 minute drive to lorne and we loved driving in to lorne each day the views of the beach were amazing. We love this place! 5 stars :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brynmawr. The owner was lovely to deal with and the house was very clean and comfortable. We loved the amazing ocean views and the beautiful birds that visited every day. We loved the hot outdoor shower, beautiful renovation and 2 living areas is a bonus when you have children. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything we could possibly need. Our dog was made to feel very welcome with a gorgeous secure garden that he could enjoy. We will definitely be back next summer!

Brynmawr provided the perfect base for our family beach holiday. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing week away. It is easy walking distance to the dog-friendly beach and wonderful local cafes although the beautiful upstairs renovation made it hard to get out of bed and leave the views and my cup of tea some mornings! We have stayed at Brynmawr several times now, and on each visit this holiday home gets better and better. The recent renovations are stunning, and the upstairs area provides the most amazing views of Bass Strait, Airey's Inlet and the lighthouse. The front garden has been landscaped offering a lovely spot to walk, or just sit and relax. The home has everything that you could possibly need when on holiday. The kitchen is well equipped with excellent facilities. The living spaces are attractive and comfortable, and up to date with technology. There is plenty of space in the bedrooms and great bathrooms upstairs and down. The balconies on three sides of the home allow a choice of views and opportunity to observe the beautiful birds native to the area. For us one of the best features was the fact that dogs are most welcome to stay. Our two dogs have enjoyed every moment of their visits to Brynmawr: whether it is exploring the extensive gardens; visiting the nearby beaches; trips to local cafes (a special treat) or just relaxing after a busy day. The property is fully fenced and therefore very safe. We would not hesitate in recommending this home for a relaxing, enjoyable holiday.

Lovely property with superb views. Everyone had a great time including the family dog who was made most welcome. Lots of space to accommodate the needs of both teenagers and grandparents, well equipped with useful extras and the most comfortable beds ever!
