What a fabulous time we had at the villa. The rooms are clean and well looked after. You have everything you need to entertain. The host family are so very gracious and helpful. They even brought over a gorgeous birthday cake for the birthday girl! The pool area was our haven! But there were two lovely terrace areas you could use as well. Everything about our stay was just perfect and we all have the post holiday blues now. Thank you for having us 😊

Wir waren mit 16 Personen da. Das Haus ist in 3 Wohnungen unterteilt. Im EG 2 Zimmer mit je einem Doppelbett, im 1. und 2. Stock je 3 Zimmer mit einem Einzel und zwei Doppelbetten. Dazu gab es Klappcouchen und Klappbetten. In jeder Etage ein Bad und eine Küche. Wir haben aber nur die voll ausgestattete und überdachte Außenküche benutzt. Drei kleine Schönheitsfehler gab es. 1. Bei der Spülmaschine in der Außenküche fehlte beim unteren Auszihekorb ein Rad, so dass das Einräumen ein wenig lästig war, weil der Korb immer seitlich rausgerutscht ist. 2. Die Reifen der drei angebotenen Mountainbikes (mit Helmen und Schlössern) waren so porös, dass Sie nicht zu benutzen waren. 3. Um in den Ort zu gelangen muss man die Schnellstraße überqueren, so dass es zu Fuss oder mit dem Fahrrad nicht sehr angenehm ist und wir immer mit dem Auto gefahren sind. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub! Einmal hat es vom Vermieter leckere Pfannkuchen für alle gegeben und zum Abschied hat jede Familie ein Fläschen Olivenöl bekommen. Empfehlenswert!

Es war alles besser als beschrieben, Dario war immer zur Stelle, wenn wir fragen hatten. Seine Mutter hat uns pancake gebracht und wir haben Roséwein bekommen 🌞. Wir haben uns richtig zu Hause gefühlt! Vielen Dank für alles ❤️

The property was exactly as advertised. Clean, spacious and with a really friendly host. Dario was on hand to answer questions, offer advice and suggestions. Superb customer service -we would highly recommend!

We all had a wonderful stay at this family run property. Dario and his family went above and beyond the necessities; offering lifts from the airport, welcome and mid week gifts of cherry brandy and pancakes made by Nana (both delicious) and even offered use of a car. The property was very clean (I've never seen a cleaner pool) and comfortable. We were 11 adults, six of whom were in couples and the other five could still have a room to themselves. The sofabed in the dining room is comfortable and self contained (i.e. does not lead to any of the other bedrooms). There are four kitchens in total, three equipped with dishwashers, ovens and microwaves and the other is an outside kitchen with an oven where we mainly cooked and dined each evening. There is a lovely terrace on the first floor that provides more sun into the evening and a view of the sunset. Sea views to the front and the mountains behind. There is plenty of dining and living space inside the property, in case of bad weather too. You can hear the main road from the property but nothing excessive, just a rumble of traffic. Most of the bedrooms are the side of the property furthest from the road. The advantage of the main road proximity is only 15 minutes to the airport, Trogir and Split. We even took Ubers into Split for dinner one evening (£14 ish) so we could all have a drink (be wary of excessive taxi costs back from Split!) There are loads of supermarkets around but nothing is particularly walkable, owing to the main road. We made the mistake of pre booking a boat trip around the islands; the trip Dario can organise seemed much more comfortable than the tiny speedboat we had and although more expensive, is inclusive of catering and drinks. All in all, a wonderful stay with some lovely hosts. Thanks so much Dario and family!

Fantastic holiday, Dario and family were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble, arranged transfers and amazing boat trip. We arrived early and they went out of their way to accommodate us, supplied drinks and food and the use of the pool whilst they were getting the villa ready and even took a few of us shopping for supplies. We were a group of 11 adults and 2 children and the villa was perfect for us. It was my birthday whilst we were there and they brought around an amazing cake. Would highly recommend

Beautiful apartments with every modern convenience. Spotlessly clean and spacious. Dario and his parents so welcoming and and helpful with anything we needed. Cooked lovely meals for us and even provided a beautiful birthday cake for our grandson's 21st birthday. Our stay at this property was perfect and would fully recommend to any family.

We were a group of ten extended family members. The Villa Pavelin was perfect for us as it has three separate apartments with their own entrances plus a large outdoor space with a fabulous outdoor kitchen and pool. We spent a lot of time in the outdoor kitchen as the main communal area. We all enjoyed the pool, especially the kids (age 6 and 9). Dario and his family looked after us very well, from greeting us on arrival, coming to check and clean the pool, and being very responsive to any questions we had during the stay. They even brought a platter of salami and cheese on our first day, and pancakes for breakfast later in our stay. The villa apartments are spacious, modern and clean. They all have air conditioning although it was difficult to keep the bedrooms cool enough on the warmest nights (it was a very hot week in July). The villa is on a main road and its not easy to walk directly from the villa into the town. But Dario provides a free car and we hired an extra car or used Ubers and this made life easy. It's about a 15-20 minute taxi ride to the middle of Split or Trogir.

We had the most amazing time staying at the villa, went with 11 friends to celebrate my 40th birthday. The villa was clean, lovely pool and set up so everyone had enough space on each floor. Easy location to airport and split. Dario and his family were absolute legends arranging various pick ups from the airport and recommending the best companies for trips to Kaka waterfalls and a speedboat trip around the surrounding island which were a highlight. He even let us use a car and visiting with the most delicious birthday cake I have ever tasted! I had one of my best birthdays in Croatia made very special in this beautiful location! I would definitely recommend!

We were 14 friends and we stayed at the Villa Pavelin for a week. The villa is really pretty, clean, well organised for a big group of friends. The possibility to use a car, the Lidl just next to the villa : they made the stay really pleasant. The owners are really nice and welcoming.

We stayed at the Villa the first week of August this year as a large group of 12 adults and 5 children. There was plenty of room and the 3 apartment setup over the 3 floors allows families and friends to have their own space. The hosts were fantastic. Dario and his family were always available if we needed anything and surprised us with pancakes for breakfast on one of the days! As others have pointed out, if you want to walk to the shops/beach there’s about a 200 yard walk down a busy road with no pavement. We didn’t find this an issue but groups with children and less able travellers should be aware. There’s a Lidl and large supermarket within 10-12 minute walk and an UBER is only about £3 back to the Villa. We’d highly recommend this Villa and would visit it again. We had 11 people stay and it was exactly what we were looking for. Very spacious, wonderful hosts. I would stay here again. The only thing to be aware of is, it's off a main highway (but it's removed via a driveway) - so there is no walking anywhere. It wasn't an issue at all...but it's something to understand. We had a great stay and would come back again!!!

We were a group of 12 age range from 15-50. The villa is spacious and ranges over 3 apartments giving plenty of space when needed. There is an outdoor kitchen and we cooked for 12 easily. There is a large pool which was very well used and great fun for all. What made this holiday so special were the owners Matko, Dario and Maria who cannot do enough for you, they arranged all our taxis and trips and even took us to the supermarket a few times for supplies. One of our party had a birthday during our stay and the owners brought over a birthday cake and champagne which was very well received. Supermarket is within walking distance it just made life so much easier with the heavier items to have a car. The beach is within walking distance and takes around 20 minutes, there is a marina and small beach bar and a restaurant near by. We hired a boat and visited the blue caves which are amazing, however, the boat ride returning was very rough which we were told is common and may not be recommended if you have young children or elderly as you do get thrown about. The waterfalls at Krka National Park are about an hour away and well worth a visit we also stopped at Sibernik which was also beautiful. Only negative is the house is on a main road which you have to walk on for a few minutes until reaching a pathway so may not be good for small children but did not cause us any issues or rent a car. Prices were very similar to UK and reasonable to eat out. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return and would highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed at Dario & Matkos house for 2 weeks and everything was perfect. We were 6 adults and 6 kids between the ages of 0-6 years. The apartments and amenties was very good. But the best thing with this house was the outside area with the pool and outdoor kitchen. And the service they provided was beyond exceptional. They helped us with everything and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was everything we hoped for. If you are looking for a beautiful house in a wonderful country, look no more. We will go back again! 5 out of 5 stars

Great property (3 separate apartments with extra communal outside kitchen) with a lovely pool. 25 minutes drive into Split or Trogir. Ideal for families sharing. We didn’t have cars and had to rely on a minibus company. They were excellent though. The only down-side is that it is literally just off a main road and you can’t walk anywhere. That said, it is still a lovely villa, extremely well equipped, and the owners went out of their way to make us welcome and make sure we had everything we needed. Fantastic!

We stayed at Villa Pavelin for a week in July 2017. The villa was a perfect size for our family of 15 as it was very spacious as well as being well equipped and very clean. There were lovely views of the mountains and the coast from the balconies. The garden was lovely with various fruit trees growing and the pool area was really well maintained and had plenty of sun loungers. The swimming pool was kept very clean by the owners and there was plenty of shade when needed. The area was great because it was close to supermarkets and many beautiful places for day trips. Our stay was made even more special by the hosts who are a really lovely, friendly and generous family. They wanted everything to be perfect for us and made sure we had a fantastic holiday. I would definitely recommend this lovely villa.

The villa was perfect for the needs of our large, family group. We had all the appliances and furnishings we needed and although our ages ranged from 21 to 86, we had plenty of options for entertainment. The owners of the villa were particularly accommodating and helpful. They were very friendly and made us feel most welcome. The villa was large and spacious and we particularly enjoyed eating in the separate BBQ area

The villa was perfect - it had everything you would want: pool, BBQ, wifi, good TVs, short drive to Split and Diocletian's palace, beach and town easy walking distance with its lovely restaurants, pubs and pizzerias. The Lidl and Konzum supermarkets were very convenient. The owner and his family were just wonderful: helpful, friendly and generous. I would thoroughly recommend Villa Pavelin for any large family group like ours. We had a fantastic holiday there.

The owners were very welcoming, hospitable , generous and helpful. The property is very spacious, clean & well maintained with sheets and towels changed at the end of our first week. There are also 3 washing machines available ! The location was perfect with glorious sea views to wake up to. A few minutes drive to the beach. excellent restaurants a short drive away recommended by the owners, 15 minutes from Split airport , Split and Trogir , two beautiful towns , 15-20 minutes away. Lots of beautiful areas and activities within an hour away. Ideal for families who enjoy different activities. It was our first visit to Croatia and we had a wonderful holiday and can highly recommend Villa Pavelin as a great place to stay.

We had a warm welcome from Dario (the owner) and his family on arrival. They even helped us with our first big shopping trip! The villa is stunning, with views of both the mountains and the coastline from it's numerous balconies. It was very clean inside, with more than enough kitchens and bathrooms for our group of 13. Air-con and wifi definitely came in handy. The pool area was spot on, especially with the night-time lighting! The added bonus of a BBQ area outside really made feeding the group for the week a breeze. The villa is located just off the main road that heads towards Split, and there's a Lidl within walking distance. We didn't have a car (there are parking spaces for at least 3 cars however) but Dario put us in contact with a minibus service that ferried us to and from Split for a very reasonable price. Split is beautiful, with loads of bars and restaurants too. Overall, an incredible stay, and our thanks go to Dario and his family for making us feel so welcome during our star. 5 Stars.

We were two families with a total of 14 people, 4 adults and 10 teenage children with assorted boyfriends and girlfriends. The villa was ideal for us, there are balconies with great views of Spilt, the harbour and the mountains to the north. The accommodation is well maintained and clean. The outside kitchen was great to sit out in in the evenings. Dario was particularlyThe helpful and friendly, giving us advice on beaches and restaurants etc. The houses is run and maintained by the whole family who we met and who were all really friendly and helpful. Maria, Dario's sister in-law, turns up on an almost daily basis to maintain the pool and sort out any issues. The whole family assisted us with a medical issue when we needed to find local a local hospital.Two local supermarkets are a 5 minute walk away and there is a good bus service (no 37) from here to Spilt.

We - 3 families and a total of 13 people - stayed at Villa Pavelin for 2 weeks in July 2015. The villa offers anything you want from a holiday house. It's spacious, modern, well kept; it's A/C for hot days, TV and wi-fi. There are kitchen facilities in abundance, plenty of space inside the house even for a group of people as many as us. The summer kitchen is a gem - it offers possibilities for BBQ and cooking, or a cold drink. A nice place to spend the evenings! The pool is well maintained and was popular among the kids. It's a lovely place to hang out. There views of the coast line from the balconies is great! The location between Trogir and Split, close to the seven Kastela's, is great. You need a car, but it's the only downside. There's a great supermarket nearby. The amazing coastline of Croatia is right there for you to enjoy. Dario himself is a very good host. He and his family was very helpful throughout - he helped us with planning, practical issues and even various advice about the area. We felt his only concern was our well being. We'd recommend this property to big families, or families that would like to spend their holiday together. We would not hesitate to go back!
