Nancy is a great host, she will do everything to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. The breakfast was really good, we had pancakes, toasts and fruits but Nancy also offered eggs and sausages. The place is quiet, and the surroundings offer everything you need. Its also very close to beautiful places.

I just wish there was a better dining/table setting outside to enjoy a meal :)

Nancy was a great host, very kind and hospitable. Breakfasts were simple and basic: egg, sausage, toast + jam, fruit. Good location.

We got the lower unit and it felt very cluttered with stuff (drums, bookcases, desks, etc). Owners were storing many things down there. Granted, we didn't need all the space, but it wasn't visually appealing.

Comfortable use of hosts house and quiet location. Good price value. Has good potential if improvements made to outside appearance and some operational issues. Acceptable breakfast although some cereal would enhance.

After walking from ferry in hot sun up steep road for nearly 30 min we eventually located the property hidden in forest trees. Outside of house and grounds were in an unkempt state with no encouraging signage and unattractive entrance way with long grass. The house appeared deserted and locked when arrived exhausted with no answer to mobile phone calls for 15 min. Host eventually appeared and was quite flustered and unfamiliar with the nature of our booking compounded with a language barrier. The rooms were eventually clarified and explained, but with a broken missing curtain of immediate distraction. A living room with double and single beds and kitchen/ dining room, plus main bedrm and a nice bathroom. Some facilities were told were not for our use and host had much of own personal items present as rooms assume were used by host when not rented. Meanwhile host lived upstairs. While seemed a fully equipped kitchen we discovered we were not permitted to use cooking facilities although host relented with use of hot plate. Once better understood matters was a comfortable stay. The booking.com description "with garden view" is misleading as is an untidy and overgrown wilderness.

Great breakfast. Central location

Breakfast was wonderful. The hosts were wonderful. The place was very nice and they made you feel very welcome. It was my first time staying in a Bed & Breakfast and they made it a very pleasant experience.

The bed was not as comfortable as we are used to. Saying that, I have stayed at very expensive hotels and didn't have comfortable beds!

Nancy (the host) was very nice and helpful when talking to us. The location was convenient for an early departure to the Gabriola ferry. Access was good.

It wasn't suitable for a family with small children due to the room setup and also the level of privacy available from the outside of the house and from the hosts' part of the house. Breakfast choices didn't suit our children.

We stayed in a spacious room with a nice view of the garden and trees. The owners were friendly and provided useful information for exploring the island.

Breakfast could be improved. The back parking space is too dark, too difficult to use for a late check in.

The lower level suite was really spacious and a lot more private than I expected. Nice location walking distance to the restaurants. Good breakfast. Nicely decorated and thought out suite, lovely fancy shower. Had a nice cozy cabin feel.

When we first arrived, the kitchen area was cold and the living room area with the other bed was freezing. Once the heater was turned out, it warmed up nicely, might be good idea to warm the place up in advance. Not sure if it would be a good place to stay if it's below freezing out. Didn't feel like my dog was 100% welcomed.

Owners were very friendly and helpful in providing information about activities on the Island.

Water had a very strong sulphur smell/taste and this should have been flagged. Bottled water should have been provided. Interior and exterior were cluttered with personal items, and fridge contained owner’s food. Bed arrangement not as advertised. No king bed, and second bedroom was a TV room, containing a queen that wasn’t made up and a single mattress on the floor. Arrived at night and no address, visible signage or exterior lighting was present.
