It was great! Way better than we expected! The house was amazing! Would stay there again! Outside was great, too! Lots of space and privacy!

We stayed for three nights. We visited the Ark and Cincinnati Zoo. The property is in the perfect location for the attractions near by. We were 5 adults and 5 children ranging from 3 years old to 14. Everything we needed was in the house. Nothing bad to say about the host or the property.

This property fit our needs perfectly. With 4 adults and 4 children, we had plenty of room for everyone and enjoyed our stay. Clean, lots of extra blankets and bedding. The only thing to note is that the kitchen is located upstairs. We didn’t realize that from the pictures and for us it wasn’t an issue, but for someone with lots of groceries or that struggles with stairs- just something to note.

We loved everything about the Old Home Place. There were enough sleeping places for all 10 of us, lots to keep everyone busy too. The kids especially liked the gumball machine, M&M dispenser and the games and coloring books. Everyone enjoyed the pool table. We had a little trouble with the internet and tvs due to an earlier storm, but the problem was responded to quickly. We went to the Ark and Creation Museum and just really enjoyed our stay, way more than if we had stayed at a hotel. Thank you!

We had a pleasant stay. Would had been better if there wasn't a Japanese bettle invasion occuring. Property is great. Location is really close to Ark. Not much else in town. It is a farm house. Only othere issue we had is there is attached home with access to the property you stay in. You should probably list that.

This worked out perfectly for us as we had a 3 day conference at the Ark Encounter and also had some extended family members tagging along for the fun! Fully equipped kitchen, plenty of beds to sleep on, and a great place to relax after a long day of exploring, networking, and learning. The children loved the open spaces to play and run and also having extra space to hang out! All around beautiful and great place to stay!

Highly recommend, close to Ark Encounter!

We have traveled and stayed in many places but this stay was unique and unimaginable. It wouldn't have been possible without a home to come to. The scenery, location, and cleanliness of the palce made our stay the happiest. Thank you for ushering us into a home that worth staying. 👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏

We stayed in the old home place for our Ark Encounter visit. The house is so clean and it is beautiful. It looks so much nicer than the pictures in the listing. Owner responded to issues so promptly.

This property is awesome. It was a perfect choice for us. It is so quiet and pretty outside sitting on the deck. Inside is very clean and comfortable as well. The pool table was everyone’s favorite part. We really enjoyed playing. Only thing I would have done differently is if you have little kids like us is bring a baby gate for the stairs!

This was the perfect place for our family vacation, close to the ark encounter and 45 minutes to the creation museum!! Beautiful home on a beautiful property!! You do share the property with the caretakers however we would never have know. They were there!!! Would definitely stay here again!!

The property and owner were both fantastic. The views were great. It was a large home, which is perfect because there are 7 of us. We had a great time.

This was a great place to stay at a great price for our large family. Very good location in regards to the Ark Encounter and zoo. We had nine total staying and we had plenty of room. This area is beautiful with rolling hills and very quiet!

My family and I stayed here so we could go to the Ark Encounter. The house was wonderful, very clean, quiet and less than 10 mins from the Ark. The kids loved taking baths in the jacuzzi tub, the beds were comfortable and it was nice to end the night with a game of pool. We would definitely come back again, highly recommend!

Fantastic place for your stay if going to the Ark Encounter. Place was extremely clean and well stocked. We only stayed two nights but couldn’t have had a better stay. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place too stay

I chose this property after reading through previous reviews. It surely did not disappoint! We loved our stay there! The views from every side are beautiful! It’s in a great location that was very close to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum! It was a perfect fit for our family and we would love to stay there again! Eric made our first stay a great one! Having the pool table, the gum ball machine and M&M dispenser was a huge hit with our kids as well as the garden tub. Would definitely stay there again if ever back in the area.

Myself and 5 other ladies enjoyed our stay in this lovely home while attending the Answers for Women Conference. It's about 10 min from The Ark...great country views. We would definitely recommend it to others.

This house was exactly what we needed. It was very clean, beautiful, roomy, and fully stocked. The views were amazing. We had deer come visit the back yard a couple of the days we were there. We had arrived late in the night, as we came from a long distance away, and GPS took me down the road just a bit, but we were able to get ahold of the owner, even late at night, and they were super nice and helpful. We all had a good time on our family mini-vacation. Thank you for sharing your home, we loved it!!

We were all so pleased with our rental. Communication was excellent! There are not a "bazillion" ridiculous rules to follow. It was very clean, updated, and beautifully decorated. We loved all the touches of the original farmhouse that were incorporated. We drove in from Missouri and met our daughter, son-in-law and three grandsons who drove in from North Carolina to spend a few days at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. This home was just perfect for our stay!

The view was absolutely superb and the home offers a lot of open space for family gatherings. There were a lot of very special extra steps taken to make this a warm and welcoming home. Thank you!

The property was easily located. The neighborhood was quiet. All in all it was a good experience. It was a little hard for me because the kitchen was upstairs, But we made it fine. Would come again.

Owner was great to work with. There were 6 of us staying and house had plenty of room. Men watched football downstairs and women watched movies upstairs with kids watching TV in their room. Please note 1 bedroom living area and bathroom is at walk-in level, the kitchen, 2 bedrooms, living/dining and a bath is upstairs. We had no issues with stairs but handicapped or elderly might.

We loved the property. The beds were very comfortable and we slept great. The pool table was a hit for our teens. The bathtub was great with an extension to wash little kids hair. Great movie selection! Communicating through VRBO messaging wasn't good, however the property manager replied quickly to my phone call and texts. I would stay here again.

Reasons for less than 5 stars: *Check in process - this was lower due to the code not working, we were able to get in touch with the property owner and get the correct code *Accuracy of online listing - Kitchen is upstairs which made it very difficult and dangerous for our elderly companion to join the group at mealtime, it definitely would have affected our home choice had it been known, especially should be noted for anyone traveling with mobility limitations *Communication - it took multiple times to connect due to cell signal dropping either for us or the homeowner, we were able to connect when needed, but it was slightly inconvenient Overall a wonderful place, beautiful views, peaceful setting, very clean and great home for fellowshipping! We visited the ark, which makes the location perfect! If the kitchen were not upstairs and the code had worked, we would have given 5 stars, it really is a great place to stay.

My family and I came to Kentucky to see the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. We absolutely LOVED The Old Farmhouse!! Everything was so nice and clean! There was sooo much thoughtfulness put into this home down to the little M&M dispenser and the books and games foe the kids!! The kitchen was my favorite thing about the home it is well stocked with anything you would need to cook breakfast or dinner! We loved the back balcony and saw some wild turkeys one morning!! The old barn is perfect for taking a picture by and the pool table was lots of fun!! My kids also loved the cool gumball dispenser!! The host is very kind and even brought us some extra laundry detergent. There were juice boxes and popcorn and water bottles for us when we arrived! I just can't say enough about this place it was amazing!!

We enjoyed having the house all to ourselves, the kids had fun playing pool and the booking was very easy and the host made it easy to access on arrival. The house was very clean and furnished with everything you need to enjoy your stay. It was a great location not far from town and restaurants and close to the Ark Encounter.

Rented this for 4 sisters on yearly trip. Visited the Ark and surrounding area. Comfortable home, recommend for a few or many!
