SPA poor service and overpriced. Not a good treatment no attention to detail . No explanation of facilities . Not attentive or welcoming

We had a lovely lakeview room. The location of the Abbaye is excellent and staff were friendly and helpful.
We had a great 3 night stay at the Abbaye with an amazing lakeview from our bedroom. There was nothing we didn't like about our stay at the Abbaye.

the Hotel is lovely with wonderful views of the water and is located in a quiet area on the water. we rented bikes and road around part of the lake and towards the mountains. it was beautiful.

Gorgeous old abbey makes for a characterful and special place to stay . Situated on Lake Annecy with views of the lake from the room . Room was spacious and recently renovated . Easy parking on site .

The building is beautiful and the location right on the water is hard to beat. Added to that you are surrounded by soaring mountains.
The dining room is inside. It would be nice to eat outside on the terrace, in front of the water.

An exceptionnal historical building i/ fantastic location. Unfortunately, the house is decorated without care or taste. Friendly staff.
A little effort of decoration and gardern care could transform the hôtel into a magical place. What a pity.

The location is stunning. The interior of the hotel is very impressive. The quality of the restaurant is excellent and the restaurant staff were very competent and pleasant. The room that we were eventually given was very good.
We were not initially allocated the room we had booked. It took over 30 minutes of pushing and turning down offers of reduced rates before miraculously a room with a balcony was reluctantly given to us. We were charged for an item from the mini bar that we did not use after our departure (only €6 but annoying) and when we asked for the glasses that my wife had left behind to be posted to us were told that it would cost us €25 (we were actually charged €35 and when I queried the charge was informed that the cost was greater than expected and included a labour charge). At no point were apologies given and the promise of a refund of the €6 was not fulfilled.

Perfect setting. Highest quality hotel but of course exclusive and hence expensive. Staff brilliant.

Restaurant closed on Monday and Tuesday when we stayed in May. Ran out of fruit and yoghurt at breakfast- as vegetarians this was disappointing. Minor points as overall it was wonderful place to stay.
