Good Location

Decently central location but...

massively let down by the boy racers revving very loud engines durning the night. All night! Not the hotel's fault, of course! The hotel was very dowdy, rather spartan and run down really. Breakfast was standard and not very exciting.

Location is good, at city center, bed is very comfortable too, hot water and excellent breakfast.

It was reserved and confirmed, through booking, a double room with a double bed. But during the check-in the staff said there isn't available this room, and we had to merge the beds by ourselves. He, surely, already know about this and didn't say anything about before entering.

Breakfast was pretty good, with a variety of toast, medialunas, fruit, coffee, tead and juice. The location was central for Trelew, but, unless you are going to Trelew on purpose, go to Madryn instead.

The room was very small and the beds were sort of crammed in. Supposedly, the hotel has central air conditioning, but it was hot. There was no way to control the heat/ac. There was no fan. I ended up literally sleeping on a hard wooden floor because the bed was awful and it was too hot. It was the worst sleep I have ever had in a hotel. And then I had to drive 10 hours the next day. There was a nice breeze out the window but people partied and yelled and honked horns and revved engines until about 6:15 a.m. At that point, some of the people outside - most of them staggering drunk - broke a window on the car next to our and scuttled off while the owner ran down to see the damage on his vehicle. We probably should have paid the extra fee for a neighboring parking lot, but we were fortunate and our car was not damaged. Speaking of extra fees, our dog was an at reception upcharge of about 30-35% of the agreed price. I am sure it was somewhere in the small print, but it was annoying as none of the other stays on our trip have done it like that.

On March 15, 2020 we arrived in Trelew. An apparently ignorant official told us at the hotel reception a) that I had to pay the ordered accommodation for two days in cash in US dollars, b) we were quarantined as a result of a government decision. We were quarantined in a room that was not cleaned up and full of sawdust by craftsmen ... Later it turned out that we do not quarantine, (mistake of a clark) but the afternoon was lost ... Furthermore, it turned out that all the museums /state decision/ are closed, so the next stay in Trelew was pointless, so we flew to Buenos Aires. I hereby request full refund of the accommodation costs. If necessary, I will provide photo documentation of sawdust and dust in the room.
