Everything was great except……..
Temperature of room-too warm

Location, views. Very friendly . Excellent breakfast.
Nothing.

Food and service excellent....comfortable and clean
Frankly the hotel is missing a trick...need to organise paid parking....and concierge service for cases ....
To expect a customer to walk through the street with cases is appalling...and just to say you can stop outside is Frankly not good enough for a luxury hotel

Room: decorated lovely. The bed was huge and soo comfy. Loved the free sleep spray
Dining room/ decorated beautifully
Breakfast. Really impressed, we did ask for them to lay a table near the door so we could eat with a view and the waitress would as more than happy to accommodate.
Also Yarg cheese is now my favourite! 😋
Nothing really.
The bathroom heating was on and it made the room a bit hot I thought. But I imagine most people would prefer that to being cold

Good location, warm welcome, well appointed, good restaurant
Appealing menu but doesn’t change often so limited choice especially for vegetarians staying for a few days.

Was a great location was a very long walk though to park the car
We had a part sea view room which was nice other than it’s attached to a villa that was rented and very noisy people til 11pm shouting talking etc

Great location to explore the area on foot or by ferry. Wonderful estuary views from the breakfast room and terrace. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Clean room.
Very noisy seagull family right above our window 😉.

A stunning location in a lovely small town. Super comfy beds! All staff were very efficient and friendly! The place had that extra magic one always hopes for on holiday. We would love to return in the future!

We paid for a water facing room and probably had the best room right on the water. Very spacious room and bathroom. No lift so plenty of exercise. The patio was lovely. Hotel is well maintained. Would definately recommend.
The restaurant food lacked flavour. Looked and sounds good but quite bland.
Be prepared to stop your car at the front, through your bags out on the pavement with a member of your party and keep driving on to patk at a public carpark. The roads are so narrow and tight that you will be blocking all traffuc when you stop.

Location, food & staff superb.
Room 11 has some maintenance issues which were pointed out to Reception.
Mould at base of shower & rear of basin are not acceptable in a hotel of this standard.

Location is great, staff is really really nice and helpful
Room 1 is only 21 square meters….there’s not much space left around the bed.
The mattress was terrible, both me and my partner suffered back pains from sleeping on that. The pillows were not better either and it is disappointing as for almost £200 a night one expects nice natural filled pillows.

A beautiful location and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant and food was amazing but next time i would eat there but not stay there.
The bedroom was one of the smallest i’ve ever stayed in and one of the noisiest - which at £240 a night was disappointing

From arrival to departure it felt homely. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
The food was exceptional, congratulations to the chef and the whole team, from the receptionist to the night porter to the waitresses to the cleaning team, very impressed.
Would not hesitate to recommend.
Could NOT fault anything .

Everything was very nice.

Really disappointing and shabby for over £200 per night. Centrally located, comfortable bed and clean room but not much else going for it.
Woken at 7.30am by noisy scaffolders working right below our window. The receptionist was indifferent. Outside seating area now a sad array of dead plants and a few cheap chairs and tables, covered in bird mess, given over to the seagulls. Had specifically booked this hotel because it was advertised as having a boutique-style terrace with comfy sofas and parasols. Totally misleading. On one of the best days of the year so far guests were discouraged from going outside and, instead, corralled into the dingy dining room. The outside doors were kept closed throughout our stay and at breakfast we were shoved behind a wall even though there were two sunny tables free by the window. The staff just couldn't be bothered to lay up again. Service was inept to the point of rudeness and the breakfast was poor (Eggs Benedict was a small, burnt muffin topped with hollandaise out of a bottle). This hotel used to be the place to stay in Fowey. It's now the place to stay away from.
