Il Veliero is well situated in the town and is in easy walking distance of both the station and the beach. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. Judith was a very friendly and helpful host and I would gladly recommend her hotel to others wanting to stay in the area. Judith helped us with restaurant recommendations, bookings, a snorkelling trip and luggage storage.

Clean rooms and convenient location to explore cinque terre if you want to avoid crowds and are using the trains to go around. Beach, station and supermarket all within 10minute walk. Helpful staff

A very nice room, private garden, clean bathroom and breakfast free (coffee, tea, milk, water, biscuits, brioches, etc.). Value for money and very nice staff.

In confirmation of my booking it was specified that the check-in is after 12 pm and nothing about very strict rules that the check-in is not possible after 6 pm. The representative of the property contacted me at 4:30 pm on the arrival date and advised me that there is no option for me to be checked in after 6 pm. When I got this information, I was about 2 hours drive from the place in the middle of the guided tour. Due to poor communication by this very important information by the property staff and on booking.com in this emergency situation I had to look for another accommodation late at night and lost all money paid for this booking.

Very good positioned close to the railway station (5min walk), but also to the coast (10 min walk). Well reachable by car as well and quiet.

Breakfast is only instant (plastic packed croissants, coffee making facility), but there is a store around the corner where you can get whatever you need. Italians are not famous for "prima calzone" anyway. Parking is not on the premises but at a public parking to just across the street.

We rented two rooms. One was larger with a private balcony. The other was more utilitarian. Judith was a gracious and accommodating hostess. She gave us multiple recommendations for dining and was available at any time to answer questions. The place was very clean and tidy, and the light snacks were replenished daily in the rooms. The train was a short walk making access to neighboring towns quite easy.

Small shower stalls, typical of many older European buildings, were tight. Wifi was spotty, particularly in the smaller room.

Judith was a gracious and helpful host. The facilities were clean, the beds comfortable, and the cleaning service was daily. Free breakfast with water and juice was much appreciated and was replenished daily. The location to town and the train station was very good, maybe 7-10 min walk to each. We had two rooms: one w a lovely terrace, the other without. The smaller room served its purpose for sleeping, not so much for relaxing. The terrace room was quite comfortable and quiet.

Really nice! Close to groceries, beach and restaurants. Super clean big bathroom, very comfortable beds and great staff! 10 min from train station, everything about our stay was amazing! Got free breakfast in the room which was filled up with bread, water, coffee and small snacks.

Easy to get to from the train station which is good if you have alot of bags. The room was comfortable and the AC worked great.

There are a few flights of stairs to get up to the room. Also the bathroom was a little awkward and shower did not drain properly.

We were traveling as a family from Nice to Cinque Terre by car. Levanto is a good stop to stay if you have a car. This hotel has couple free parking spots which is even better (you need to have good parking skill however because some spots are really tight!!) The accommodation is quite, and easy to walk to restaurants, beaches, and the train station to start your Cinque Terre experience. Staff Judith is nice and helpful. Bed is very comfy not squeaky. Also, from Levanto beach, you have the start of the walk (3h) to Monterosso.

Room size. Location.

Very thin walls. We could not rest because of the noise inside the hotel (people talking, flushing toilets, coughing, etc.). Although they take care to clean the room every day, there are cockroaches. Breakfast was included in the reservation, but there were only things packed inside the room. So it meant an extra expense for us.

Conveniently located close to the train station to visit Cinque Terre. Friendy helpful staff. Excellent air conditioning. Spacious room. Good coffee machine and croissants provided for a light breakfast. Very clean.

Barking dog somewhere in the property. The pillows were very hard, my spouse and I got neck aches from it. Walls are thin, from our room you could hear conversations in the reception. Feels somewhat overpriced, I guess because it was peak season.

Not much I am afraid.

The room was extremely noisy and it didn't help the host vacuumed next door at 8:45am while we were trying to sleep. We traveled with our son who wasn't able to sleep. My wife was cold the morning of our first night so we asked for an extra blanket the second night and it wasn't provided to us. The wifi was not working the second day and the reception desk girl said that the server was down in Bologna... and did nothing to correct the issue. When we tried to switch rooms due the first night noise, the host would not do it. Overall a very bad experience for a quite expensive room ($125) and I would not recommend this place for families who need rest after a day's hike in the Cinque Terre.

The location was great - close to the train station and to the main pedestrian street / beach. We loved our room too, with a spacious balcony where you can have chill breakfast. Judith was fantastic at taking care of the guests! We needed an earlier check-in and it was no problem. Would recommend this place to any a friends and family.

Good accommodation and great service. Very friendly host, providing us with all the relevant information of the area and personal attention. Room with garden including sit area which really was a plus. Location is excellent; city center and train station to Cinque Terre on walking distance.
