The hotel itself is lovely and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating!

I had 2 beds in my room and the room was extremely dark. There is NOT adequate lighting. It was so dark from dusk til dawn. I called to ask if the room was maybe missing a lamp and no. That’s how the rooms are. I could not do much work, barely get ready, and dark dim rooms are super stressful to me.

I asked to pay with cash at check out and the lady was rude to me and said we don’t take cash and I asked her why and she said she didn’t know. She asked me for my tag and car information and I said I pre checked in so why am I being asked for this information and she said again I don’t know why, I said do you know anything. I asked for a manger to contact me and that didn’t happen. The next morning I asked the morning clerk about the cash and she said we don’t take cash and I said that is crazy, because everyone doesn’t have a credit card, so if someone was broke down and only had cash you would turn them away and she said yes. I told her that I called five other hotels in Oxford and they said yes we take cash. An other worker came up as I was talking to the clerk and started accusing me not wanting to pay and being ugly to me and I told her that has nothing to do with me paying for I wanted to pay cash instead of putting the charge on my credit card. I will never stay at a place that doesn’t take care of people. I was a manager in Hotel business for over 15 year’s and I could not imagine not taking care of someone that needed help. Staff is rude and manger will not call you ….

The prices are sometimes higher than the rest of the hotels in town even during the week . Awkward location with no restaurants close by . At around 12 am in the morning, they will attach an additional charge to your credit card without your permission .
