heating in the room was a little too much for me. could easily be solved. Price for breakfast came as a surprise (€8,50 for rolls, butter, jam, cheese, cold cuts, and tea/coffee) - I didn’t read the complete confirmation email .

Kind people, clean and warm little room with a clean bathroom. Excellent (traditional) kitchen and the biggest variety of products in a vending machine I have ever seen.

Great host, very helpful during our entire stay. The restaurant feels very cozy, it makes you feel like home. The area is really beautiful for a small town.

Friendly Gasthof that we were staying at for the 2nd time. It had been nicely refurbished during the Covid outbreak including small fridges in the rooms. Previously the food was excellent (but see below) and staff helpful.

Due to staffing problems due to the Covid outbreak no meals were available on Mon or Tues nights. We had difficulty finding an alternative restaurant and bought sandwiches from a local Spar. Normally the food at this Gasthof is excellent.

Everything was great, better than expected! Nice place, easy to approach, quick check-in, beatiful room, calm and fresh air.

However, if you do not speak German, Slovenian or Croatian, it is very difficult to get into the hall. There is a restaurant opposite the pension and the receptionist is there too. But there is no sign that they were found there. We arrived at 9 o'clock in the evening, I called the pension but I could only communicate in German, Slovenian or Croatian, unfortunately I don't speak any of them. I couldn't even say who I was and what I wanted. Nobody at 9pm, where should I go with a small child, where can I find accommodation? Luckily my wife saw someone walking around the empty restaurant, it was the receptionist, we knocked on the door through the glass, and then she let us in to the reception. The bell didn't ring!!!!! We tried calling several times. We have the keys, this is the direction of the room.:) Oops, no WiFi code has been posted or published anywhere. No problem ---- I tried to ask on the phone, unfortunately the nice lady didn't understand that we wanted a wireless connection option.:( Sorry, we don't go here anymore

Like the last time a very friendly welcome by the sweet lady who owns the place. Nice, comfotable beds.

Because all the rooms are in a long hallway and some guests were singing and talking really loud, we slept late and woke up early.
