With views down to Wilsons prom, well kitted out, spacious, comfortable, well furnished and quiet, I would have loved to stay longer.

This property is lovely, the view is just awsome. The home is spacious, very well appointed, little extras left in the pantry and better equipped than most we have stayed in. The countryside was worth investigating, such a pretty part of Victoria. I highly recommend.

We hosted a special birthday weekend here as a base for hiking Wilson's Prom. What a delightful and enchanting property with everything you need for a great stay. We absolutely loved the stained glass, vintage decor and fireplace during what was the coldest weekend for 3 years! Despite the wet weather, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and it gave us plenty of time for boardgames by the fire. The rooms are clean, comfy and warm. Kitchen is well-equipped. Plenty of room for lovely dining at home experiences and although we didn't use the outdoor seating area due to the rain, it was still lovely to walk around and enjoy the garden with the magnificent views. Kate is excellent to communicate with. We absolutely enjoyed our stay! Thank you for having us.

Cozy and well appointed inside and an ever-changing view outside.

Waratah Hills Homestead is such a lovely house, spacious, comfortable, very well equipped kitchen, beautiful garden and fantastic views. Our extended family of elderly parents and teen had a very enjoyable stay. It was close enough to Wilson's Prom to make several day trips when the weather was good and stay in and enjoy the cosy fire when it rained. The extra blankets and heaters for the bedrooms also kept us toasty warm on cooler nights.

This place was absolutely gorgeous! The photos in the listing did not capture the real beauty of the place because it was more beautiful in real life. We truly had such an amazing and relaxing holiday in this serene house and we couldn't be grateful enough to Kate and Scott who accommodated us very well. They were literally one message away for any questions we had in mind. They accommodated us to check in early despite late notice and that was the best part as we were able to make the most out of their stunning place. The view was also divine and waking up to a beautiful sunrise was a bonus. I would highly recommend Kate and Scott's place and we will definitely be back. Thank you Kate and Scott.

Very comfortable farmhouse with spectacular views

Very well kept, wonderful view, and everything needed was present and good quality and in good condition. Particularly liked that a fire was set up with enough wood, and that everything provided (even the coffee pods) was generous. Awesome property.

Our stay at Kate and Scott's place was perfect. Such a beautiful home (we loved the high ceilings, stonework and Alison Lester art!). So peaceful waking up to the sun rising across the Prom, such a magical place. Comfortable, well stocked with everything you need and great supply of children's books and toys. Will definitely be booking again next time we are in the area!

We (two families with young children) had an incredible stay at this beautiful homestead. Not only was the property itself so well equipped - for adults and children alike - but the views are spectacular and the hosts were so responsive and helpful. Even when our two younger kids left two beloved toys behind, they were quick to pop them in the post so they were returned asap. Generous hosts, incredible property. Highly recommend!

A unique property and location. Fabulous views overlooking Waratah Bay. Experienced severe storms during our stay that led to the loss of electricity to part of the home. Communication with owners during this period was both cordial and constructive. Every effort was made to rectify the problem. Had an enjoyable stay.

Waratah Hills Homestead offers spectacular views towards Shallow Inlet and Wilson’s Promontory. The house is charming, spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. Our grandchildren enjoyed jumping on the trampoline, exploring the garden and playing the board games provided, while adults relaxed in the tranquil surroundings. Waratah Bay, Sandy Point, Foster and Fish Creek are all easily accessible from the homestead. We had a wonderful family holiday and have already booked for next year.

Our extended family of six adults and three children ranging in age from under two to early 70's had a wonderful time at Waratah Hills. The stunning views, peaceful setting, beautiful leadlight spaces dotted with lovely artwork, stacks of toys, books and outdoor activities, great kitchen and proximity to beaches ticked all our boxes. A blissfull retreat.

Spacious craftsman built home with lots of beds in beautiful rolling hills countryside. The property was perfectly presented and had everything we needed. Huge dining table; great for the jigsaw at one end. Plenty of books, puzzles etc for both adults and children. 2 king single beds and no bunks make it suitable for adult groups. We loved it.

Thank you very much for a lovely stay in this beautiful unique house. Our family group of 8 was easily accommodated and we enjoyed the weekend very much. Had lots of space, everything we needed and we particularly liked the well-equipped kitchen and sitting in front of the great fireplace. Wonderful views of Wilson’s prom from the beautiful hilltop location.

The house is amazing with all the amenities you could need. The fireplace was prepared and all we needed to do was light it and add the supplied logs. Loved the view. Kitchen had everything you would need to prepare a variety of meals. Loved the bathrooms snd stain glass windows snd doors. Would love to return for a longer stay.

Photos do not do this property justice. The home is beautiful and cosy with everything you may need and the gardens and views are breathtakingly beautiful. Definitely will recommend to any one in need of some R&R. The hosts are super helpful and quick to respond to any queries 10/10

The home, setting and views at Waratah Hills Homestead are absolutely spectacular, and beyond our hopes when we booked. The fire kept the house warm during wintery nights, the house is equipped with everything you need for the stay, and all the details make for a beautiful homely stay. The views over the hills to the inlets and ocean are breathtaking. Kate was very responsive prior to and during our stay. We would love to stay again.
