Greatly Enjoyed our stay . We avoided driving on the road leading up to the house at night . Depended on The transportation service George recommended by to bring us back to the villa at night .

Fantastic place, incredible views!

Beautiful villa with stunning views 5 star property

The villa was lovely and the views over the bay were to die for. The staff was helpful at every step of the way and the recommended cook did a spectacular job on two meals we had prepared. The access to Ano Mera for regular shopping and the easier access to the southern and western beaches was far more convenient than going in and out of Mykonos itself. Only two minor annoyances, 1.) when the winds and breeze disappeared one night the mosquitos came out in force and 2.) the roads are poorly maintained and steep, the primary driver should be experienced in driving a manual transmission. The resident cat adopted us and we named her Zorba. She will consume her body weight in snacks but is respectful of not going on tables or chairs. Hard to imagine a nicer place to stay

My family and I just returned from a week-long stay at Villa Joy, and we could not possibly have loved it more. The villa is lovely and comfortable, the views are astonishingly gorgeous and mesmerizing, the pool is perfect -- there was even an outdoor villa cat who came to take afternoon naps with us on the deck! Thank you George, Victor and Greta for keeping us so comfortable and making us feel so welcome.

The views from the location are absolutely beauitful and the villa to match. I went with my family and we stayed for 7 days, this wasn't enough as I would like to have stayed forever. George is so lovely and friendly and made the booking very easy for us. He gave us the details of our contact on site, Victor, who met us at a nearby supermarket the day we arrived. As we piled up our car with shopping, Victor even took a few with him on his bike! Super helpful. The villa is easy enough to find with some useful landmarks nearby. Road signs are easy to follow. The villa was fresh and bright and clean on arrival and stayed that way everyday as Victor and the cleaner returned to make sure everything was ok. So spacious, split level with plenty of room. The inifinity pool was beautiful and my favourite spot was on the floating water sofa. We asked for a BBQ to be cleaned and it happened in seconds, Victor was more than hospitable. I've seen some people mention the road up to the villa, which is quite steep, but we managed it just fine in a peugeot 206 type car (can't remember exact make). George will recommend a good person to hire a car from and that was much cheaper than booking from London. Plenty of lovely views and mountain goats. Don't be alarmed if they knock on your room window one day to wake you up...that was funny! The first day very breezy and quite chilly, however for the other 6 it was very hot not much breeze at all. Only thing I would recommned a new outdoor stereo system as it played up a few times and more bug deterrants as there are quite a few. Though that's a personal thing. Thank you George and team!

George was the perfect host. I cannot imagine a better experience on my first trip to Mykonos. The accommodations are extraordinary and the morning view of the horizon is serene. Staying in Ftelia, our group felt safe and secluded while at the same time we were able to visit all parts of the island in under 20-30 minutes. George creates an atmosphere that allows you to enjoy Mykonos, but also makes you feel like you're at a private resort. It's unlike anything I've ever experienced on a vacation and I would recommend the house to any large group or family. George keeps the villa immaculate with a daily housekeeper and help from Viktor. We never had a shortage of towels, sheets, or fun. All appliances are working and there is A/C in the house. There are nearby supermarkets and gas stations, and while it takes a LONG drive down a windy road to get to it, once you close the gate behind you, you really feel like you're home. This is most definitely the best vacation I have ever been on, and a large part of that was due to George, his attentiveness, and his beautiful villa. Though, please note two things: 1) the Wi-fi is not great so if you need fast access the Internet, you might want to go to the FoodMall nearby. 2) I cannot stress enough how secluded the property is, and that the road to the villa is up a mountain. Small cars will struggle to reach the villa. We required an SUV. The gate is on an angle, so the bottom of the car might scrape if its a low to the ground vehicle.
