The pictures cannot do this place justice. The views are absolutely insane. All you see if water and islands out in the distance, and the occasional cruise ship or sailboat. No other signs of civilization. It was incredibly peaceful. I highly recommend turning off all the lights in the villa after dark and sitting on the patio to watch the stars There are two beaches within the property that are sparsely populated, we had an absolutely lovely time at these beaches The villa was very clean and very well stocked. And if you forget something, Botany Bay market is a 2 min drive, right outside the property gates. And finally, the property manager Corrina was so sweet! She was available for any silly questions I may have had. We truly hope that we can make our way back down to Langarra someday :)

This beautiful home and estate are perfect for mid to large groups with five master suites. Each bedroom is well appointed and the kitchen and living room have great views. Bob and Corinna made the check-in very easy.

We've rented many luxury properties on VRBO in a variety of tropical locations and never have we enjoyed such spectacular views as we did from this remarkable home. The pictures don't do it justice. The location is somewhat remote, but our family was eager for a relaxing and tranquil vacation and that is exactly what we experienced. When we needed a little adventure, we simply drove down to Mermaid's Chair which is one of the more incredible secluded beaches we've encountered. We certainly hope to be able to visit again soon!

We have stayed at more than 20 vacation rentals over the years and this one tops them all for us! We had a large group with a mix of adults and kids and the house accommodated all of us very comfortably. Bob and Corinna were amazing and extremely helpful hosts! The view is absolutely stunning! The photos in the listing don’t even do it justice. The pool is large with a nice shallow lounging area, a shallow end for smaller kids to play and also has a 6’ “deep end”. The beaches are absolutely unreal and we only ever saw one other group the entire week. Basically had them to ourselves! Mermaids chair is one of the most beautiful beaches any of us have been to. This wasn’t the best beach for kids to swim as it was rocky, but we spent substantial time there just soaking in the scenery and taking group photos. Sandy Bay was another absolutely beautiful beach with expansive sand areas for the kids to play. No rocks across a majority of this beach made it great and safe for the kids to play in the water as well. The beaches are a super easy 1.5 mile drive on private roads from the house, or it’s a beautiful hike as well (it’s pretty steep uphill on the way back, but our kids handled it fine on multiple occasions). The house was incredibly well stocked. Unlike some vacation rentals that leave minimal supplies, we didn’t even come close to using what was provided. I wish I had more than 1500 characters to elaborate further.. just book it; you won’t regret it!

My wife and I had the pleasure of celebrating my 50th birthday here with four other couples. All ten of us came away unanimously overwhelmed by every aspect of this property. I cannot say enough here to properly highlight how amazing this estate was. From the view, to the pool, to the entertaining space, and amenities… we were wanting for nothing! I do not see a world in which I do not stay here again in the future!

The house and the views we AMAZING. We even adventured out to the private beach, by foot. It was a great trek and a rewarding finish. Everyone was very accommodating. A rental car may be a better or less expensive option but other than that we really enjoyed ourselves. We returned home refreshed! Thank you for the hospitality!

Absolutely amazing property and exceeded our expectations. It was perfect for our family trip and to celebrate our anniversary. House was clean and had everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. The property manager was very kind and helpful getting us checked in. We were just truly thankful the owners allowed us to use their home! Could not have asked for a better location and we can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay at this home. The views are magical. Plenty of space to have a great vacation. Rooms for quiet time and family space to hang out and play games! We cooked and had a blast as a family celebrating a recent graduation. The private beach in the neighborhood was stunning! We drove all over the island. We didn’t mind it a bit. This location is about a 20 min drive from restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed being in the space and cooking more than anything.

The house was beautiful and the view was amazing. Everything as described and more! We had a great time. A wonderful place to relax and unwind.

Langarra Estate was the perfect location for our family reunion. Nine family members from ages 3 to 70 were able to spend quality time together and be thoroughly entertained while having plenty of gorgeous personal space. Botany Bay, especially Sandy Beach, is a serene paradise. The snorkeling at Sandy Beach was a lovely surprise! Lastly, I cannot say enough about Corinna. Having an "island insider"/concierge was the cherry on top. All of her recommendations were excellent. If you need a driver, ask her about Jeff!

This was our second year staying at the property and have already booked for next year! It is absolutely perfect for a multi family vacation! Corinna is excellent and so helpful! The pool and the lay out of the house is wonderful— allows for togetherness and is large enough that each family has an area they can retreat! We love it and are counting the days until our return!

This property is great overall. Central gathering locations plus separate bedroom locations for quieter time. The location offers the opportunity for much calmness and serenity. A great place to relax. The private beach on the preserve was a bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the hot temperatures.

We had an incredible time. The house is amazing. We never wanted to leave. Picture perfect sunsets. The private beach was an added bonus. We can’t wait to go back. The house is even more beautiful in person and has everything you would need. It is not close to anything on the island which we really liked as our goal was to truly get away. But if you have a car everything is within 15-30 minutes away. It is a magical place.

Wow! Wow! Such an amazing home that was furnished with everything you could possibly need. Our family of eight made some beautiful memories in this beautiful home overlooking some amazing scenery/ocean views from nearly every room. No detail was overlooked. The infinity pool was breathtaking and the house was decorated with touches of beautiful art and comfortable furnishings. The private beach was the best! Priceless! What a fantastic house!! Can't beat the views!! Don't even need to leave the house once you have groceries there, pool is wonderful and mermaids chair is worth the hike!! Such beauty! Highly recommend hiring a chef, we used Josh Fleagle- the best experience! The house is beautiful and very well stocked. Corinna was very responsive and helpful with anything we needed . Highly recommend and can't wait to return!

This VRBO is a poster child for what a VRBO should be like. It's 5 stars all the way and if you're reading this wondering if you should book it, just do it. You won't be disappointed. Our stay was incredible. Langarra is located in a gated community on the far west side of the island which is nowhere near as developed as the rest of the island. This in my opinion does make it so that you need to rent a car in order to enjoy anything else. We rented two Broncos and had a blast driving them around. The concierge, Corinna, met us at the airport and then helped us get there, get in and showed us around the entire property. This is such a simple but nice touch after a stressful travel day. We found the kitchen to be well stocked, bedrooms to be very comfortable and the pool was like what you see in the movies. However, nothing beats the sunsets which can be seen from the entire upper level of the house. Sitting down to a dinner (grilled/cooked while enjoying the view) and watching the sunset became one of our favorite memories. I'm so grateful to Bob and Kim for renting out Langarrra and sharing it with all of us. It really made one of the best vacations we could have ever dreamed of. Thanks!

Langarra was an incredible sanctuary for our family of 7 to experience St. Thomas for the first time. There was plenty of space, the accommodations beautiful, and the infinite pool and view were breathtaking. While traveling to other areas of the island and St John’s, we always appreciated our return to Langarra each evening. Thank you to Corinna for her attentiveness and.assistance in responding to questions and facilitating a positive experience! We highly recommend this villa and VRBO!

The view cannot be beat. The two beaches inside the neighborhood are THE MOST GORGEOUS is St. Thomas…..but the waves are too rough to snorkel. The home is appointed with everything you may need.

My family loved this house. My husband and I, three daughters, two son in laws and four grands spent a glorious week here. Botany Bay is a drive from Charlotte Amalie but we liked the isolation. The two nearby beaches are gorgeous. The house had everything we wanted. I would rent again!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful property. The house sits in a more remote part of the island (15-20 minutes from airport/restaurants/shopping) in a private gated community. Feels like you are in your own private island oasis. You are a 15-20 minute walk to mermaids chair or sandy beach, probably 40 minutes to walk back up. That being said, only renters and owners in Botany bay are able to drive to the parking area at these beaches, everyone else has to park up at the gatehouse and walk. This makes it feel like you have your own private beaches to hang out on. We stayed with 4 couples and 1 toddler. There was more than enough space and room. Views are incredible from around the property and the house itself is well stocked. Hanging out by the infinity pool is incredible. The pictures really don't do this property justice, it is better that it seems. There are 5 bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms/showers. No baths (relevant if you have a toddler). Tons of house amenities (separate ice machine is incredible!) make this a easy stay. There is a house "concierge" that was super helpful for all questions big and small, great for food and activity recommendations as well. Only things that could be improved was A. the water pressure and temperature was less than ideal. The water was warm but not hot, the pressure was fairly light. B. The screen doors were constantly coming out of the sliders making for frequent readjustment. Overall, these are minor nitpicky things that don't take away from what is an incredible property and a great place to spend a vacation. You will not be dissapointed.

Absolutely breathtaking views! Langarra is a beautiful well maintained Villa. 2 beautiful private beaches were available to us on Botany Bay. We had a wonderful vacation with our children and grandchildren ages 9 months and up in this beautiful villa that had everything we needed and more for our stay! Robert and Corinna were wonderful to work with! They had all of our rooms ready with children’s beds and portable cribs ready to use! We highly recommend! A special thank you to Robert and Corinna!

This was our second time at Langarra, first time was in 2015, and it was just as my husband and I remembered -- a wonderful villa filled with great furnishings, well-stocked, very clean and just filled with peace and serenity! It was jut the two of us for 5 nights and we only left Langarra 3 times, twice for groceries and one dinner in Frenchtown. Corinna, the house manager, and Bob (owner) were great, right there whenever we had any questions, always able to reach and very prompt replies. If you are looking for a very peaceful vacation, Langarra is your place. The only sounds we heard the entire time were the surf from below and the birds. We cannot wait to go back soon! LuAnn C

We absolutely loved this house. It was perfect. The layout allows for privacy between all guests and a quiet place away from the action if you need it. The beaches were close and easy to get to with tons of crabs that the kids enjoyed finding. Our concierge was super helpful and it was fantastic to have all our groceries put away before we got there. This was truly a care free and relaxing vacation for all of us. Thank you!! We’ll be back!!
