Badkamer beetje oud, maar voor 1 nacht te doen

Die Lage in der Nähe von der Autobahn ist für uns ideal, da wir nur eine Nacht übernachten und am nächsten Tag weiterreisen. Wir machen seit Jahren ein Zwischenstopp im Holiday Inn Bordeaux.

Ich habe nichts zu beanstanden.

L’emplacement et la chambre

L’accueil au restaurant. Un serveur pas très patient ni agréable. 5€ de plus pour le petit déjeuner en chambre.

Very nice and friendly people working here. The lady at the reception was lovely and was eager to help when I wanted to get my receipt via the mail which didn't work initially. I got an upgrade of my room and the rooms are very nice and well maintained. The room I stayed in was very clean and had a good size two person bed, a TV, ammenities for ironing your clothes and a very good airconditioning system that was capable of cooling the room to a decent temperature. Sound insulation seemed good as I couldn't hear much from the outside or the other rooms. However I stayed in September so the hotel was not really crowded with people. The room had a very nice and up-to-date bathroom with a nice bath/shower combo and I was positively surprised how clean and well maintained everything was. I have stayed in other hotels for the same price and have seen much, much worse. Parking is outside the hotel and during my stay there was plenty of spaces free. Breakfast was pretty good but it is your typical hotel-style breakfast. If you have been to multiple hotels before and had breakfast there, you know what I mean. Don't expect to be blown away, but I will say there were decent choices available and the meats/cheeses/fruit seemed fresh. Overal I had a very good experience I would definitely come back if I ever was in the Bordeaux area.

WiFi was a paid option. I don't know why some hotels keep doing this but I fail to see why such a basic and reasonably inexpensive thing is put behind a pay wall. I thought I would mention this for the people who have a limited 4G/5G data plan (tourists) or digital nomads.

Large bed, clean room, receptionist Kodjo was extremely helpful, friendly & professional for our very early check-out

We were offered free minibar. The fridge was warm & had very little in it.

Late night check in. Friendly staff. Free parking. Bed was comfortable. 12 o’clock check out. Only stayed the night to pass through on a roadtrip.

Umh. The instant coffee in de room was nasty ( as most instant coffee is) and the coffee in the breakfast was quite weak. Otherwise nothing bad to say about it.

Perfect sleepover hotel. No fuss, late check in provided. Very easy process. Excellent breakfast. Hotel is clean, rooms are as expected. Quiet location to get a good night sleep and access to the motorway is excellent. Have used this hotel for many years and will continue to do so

No Smoked Salmon for breakfast
