Zimmer sehr großzügig/geräumig
Keine Klimaanlage bei unerträglicher Hitze. Das Fenster musste ich deswegen die ganze Nacht geöffnet lassen. Dadurch aber laut und hell, da die Straßenlaterne direkt ins Zimmer leuchtet.

The room was clean, and the breakfast times long accommodating various schedules.
the beds were uncomfortable (no straight mattress), and the price definitely too high for the services provided and the location. The breakfast on one (out of two) days was a bit disappointing (overcooked ham, eggs not refilled promptly, same for the water).

The room was great, but it has no AC, so it was really hot
The kitchen clised at 9 PM but they didn't warn us. Also they were quite slow due to a group dinning there... so we missed the dessert... bad organization

The location was perfect for us. And the rooms was fine. That was it.
The breakfast was not reddy at 7.00 am as was promised. We could not pay when we left because the office management was not there, so we got a bill with snailmail afterwords. The payment was way more expensive than when we ordered it on Booking.com. Why is that? We got our evening meal at the hotel restaurant and it was lousy.

Small kitchen with most of equipment needed
We came in Christmas season and both Restaurants and Spa were closed No room service No bar no Cleaning service so no towel change no cleaning, nothing and yet the price stayed as normal

Clean, comfortable, and quiet hotel. After a mixup with a reservation at another hotel, the Pfalzhotel staff calmly dealt with our last minute reservation for rooms. Breakfast was delicious with numerous options to choose from. We ate dinner in the Weinstube at the hotel and it was also delicious with a nice selection of local wines. They also have ample secure bicycle parking space.
There are not many restaurant options close to the hotel if you don't want to eat there.

Everything was good, up to standards.
It's a bit of a maze to find your room and the exit.
The layout of the building is not logical. I assume it's because it's several building merged together.
The signs to the rooms and exits were very confusing and almost seems to contradict each other... a complicated layout is fine, but the signs have to be extra clear...
If there was a fire, a lot of people won't find their way out.

Too hot. Room was very very uncomfortable. The fan they placed in the room did not cool at all. The remodeling should have included split ac systems.

Stopover on our way from UK to Italy. Lady on reception was so helpful when we arrived and managed to find us a table for dinner when they were busy.

We chose this hotel as a one-night-stop on our way home (with the car). We took a spacious suite with a very nice bathroom, bed, and sitting area. Parking right in front of the hotel. Dinner and breakfast were fine.
There was no airconditioning in the room and no fridge with cool drinks (environmental measures). As it had been 26 degrees that day, that didn't feel comfortable.
