Noisy room, walls are too thin. I could hear the adjacent guest snoring all night through the wall. Windows are not sealed tightly, can hear traffic on A14 and local traffic. Bad nights sleep as a result.

Where do I start? Easy to get to location straight off the A14. Minimal, if zero queuing to get to the hotel. Super close to restaurants and fast food places but the in house resturant and bar does lovely food. Fantastic service. You can also get uber eats etc to deliver there really quickly and easily, as long as you meet them in reception. The staff are amazing. Literally, amazing. Genuinely kind, helpful, lovely people that made our 2 week stay so much easier than I thought it would be. William saved the day after my food delivery one evening wasn't eatable and another member of staff, I didn't get his name unfortunately, noticed a bag that I accidently left in the carpark, he brought it indoors and kept it safe for me. Our room had all the things we needed including multiple plug sockets and USB points. A hairdryer, iron and board, daily top ups of tea and coffee. The beds are super comfy and the temperature is easily controlled within the room. We were even able to bring our dog with us. Do not think twice about choosing to stay at this hotel. Absolutely wonderful stay.

There genuinely isn't anything I was unhappy about.

Laura the receptionist went above and beyond to welcome us. She upgraded our room, brought extra towels (and chocolates) and made sure we were ok. We felt like we were the only family staying in the hotel. Very clean (a little dated in some areas), but the staff and breakfast were fab. Very good value with booking.com

The lady working behind the bar in the evening was one of the rudest people we've ever been served by. Had to ask to be served every time as she wasn't there. When she finally turned up there was no hello, no smile, blunt one worded responses. At one point we heard her shouting at the people in the kitchen for pressing the call button to serve food. Generally unpleasant and like that to every poor customer in the bar that evening, who were all very patient with her.

Didn't have breakfast, staff were friendly and respectful. Bedroom a good size with a king size bed. Especially like that there was an iron and ironing board in each bedroom.

The flow of water in the shower could have been stronger. (My husband's opinion)

Very tired hotel. really not to the standard i expected from a Holiday Inn. Breakfast ok, however evening meal not good. Much better options for resturants within walking distance.

Nice clean comfy room. Great staff. Fabulous food. Good selection for breakfast, would have been nice to see a Thai Style. But that's me. Most other people may not like. Perhaps talk to the Thai lady who is a member of staff. I would definitely go back if in the are. A big thank you to all the team for making my trip memorable. Best wishes Andy J

Property was easy to find just off the A14. The restaurant area had a little section with toys and books, lots of different things to keep kids entertained. They also had a mini freezer by the door for guests to get an ice lolly and also had sweets on the reception desk. Staff were really friendly and really helpful. Breakfast was nice, whilst I like a warm plate for my food the plate warmer was absolutely scalding and was really hard to get the plate out. Not ideal with little children.

We arrived just after 7pm we went to our room and then went and got some food. The restaurant was relatively quiet and there was only one person who seemed to be working. Whilst she was very friendly and nice, the speed of service was way too slow. We had two young children with us and we just wanted our food relatively quickly. The starters came out quick enough but the wait between starter and main was about 40 minutes. I wouldn’t mind if the restaurant was busy but there were only about 2-3 other tables in there and all small groups of 2-4 people. When our main came out, part of the meal had been left off. By the time it came out the kitchen we’d finished and no longer wanted it. Again the server was lovely and took that item off the bill. I found the food on the menu to be really expensive for what it was. A mac and cheese main meal was £17.50! The starters were all around 7-10 and just not worth the amount. We live on the south coast so are used to prices being higher but expected it to be cheaper on the east not higher.

We were staying for a wedding. Our electric cut off shortly before we were leaving. We were moved but had to do it ourselves giving us little time to dry our hair, finish ironing etc. The room was a double when we had booked a king. Expected some kind of compensation for the disruption, not even offered a complementary breakfast.

Room was booked at short notice & was cleaned at short notice by the young lady who was also the same person who was dealing with the front desk This resulted in hher having to run up & down the staris , the room being ready being delayed & not cleaned to the best standards There needed to be better planning around staff availability There was no complaint from the staff member who was excellent in her interactions with us But it resulted in our having late access to a room that needed better preparation & cleaning

Stayed 2 nights, the room cleaning was a bit half hearted, one bin emptied, one mug washed etc.... nothing major though! The restaurant was expensive over £18 pounds for macaroni cheese.....

The whole staff were so friendly & helpful. On arrival, the reception staff bent over backwards to fulfil our request for a twin room with a bath. The following morning, the chef went out of his way to cook scrambled eggs just as my husband likes! All in all, an excellent breakfast with ample choice &catering for every taste. The beds/pillows were the most comfortable we have ever experienced & the lighting & charging points were carefully thought out. a good night's sleep was had by all with a great breakfast to look forward to each morning! I would definitely recommend this hotel for any traveller.

The buffet breakfast is very good. There is plenty of comfortable sitting areas downstairs. The room is a good size and we love the walk in shower cubicle.
