Sheep, goats, free range chickens, hiking trails amidst clear streams, a witchy little kitchen garden. Cottage is darling and serviceable, however the this and that's are numerous. I was more amused by them, my friend, not so much. Unfortunately she drowned in the hot tub as life jackets were not provided.

This place was the perfect location. It was quiet, peaceful and awesome. My children really had a nice experience. I would love to book it again...

Pulled in to find that the yard was overgrown and the house was very worn. This was not at all like the pictures fearured as advertised. Felt dirt inside. No wifi. Luckily we were gone all day and only needed a place to sleep. The only winning feature was the hot tub.

We would definitely come and stay again. The cottage was clean and cozy. While the main house is close we definitely had privacy. The hosts were friendly. We loved the sunsets and the hottub was so relaxing after a day at the winery's. We enjoyed the baby goats and the pigs.

The owners responded to this concern, noting it was due to well water but the bubbles were yellow and the film so bad that it stained our suits. The house was nice, rustic, beds were comfortable, had all essentials.

No TV (which is advertised) was such a nice change of pace and the kids loved the animals and playing soccer! Close to hiking and outside activities. Within a 20-30 min drive to larger towns and tucked away with beautiful views! Thanks again for a great stay :)

Nice convenient property to many destinations.

The name "Cottage and Spa" is very misleading. The property was not well maintained. I wouldn't have felt comfortable having family members stay there for free, let alone charging guests over $200/night to stay there. The jacuzzi was incredibly dirty. There was a giant mildew spot on the cover (larger than my 3 year-old), and when we turned the bubbles on, they were frothy and brown. The dirt rim from the water left stains on our swimsuits that still haven't washed out. There were ants on the counter in the kitchen. The shower curtain had mildew on it, and the water pressure was so weak that we still didn't feel clean after doing the hot tub and trying to rinse off. The air conditioning units were caked with dust that was visibly shooting into the air, so we had to clean the filters. The upstairs had no curtains, so our kids awoke with the sun. The bedspread for the futon also had a big stain on it. Our kids loved seeing the animals, and it was close to Naples, where we enjoyed hikes and wine tasting. The appliances worked well. However, we would not stay here again. It was nothing like we'd imagined it would be, and we were all very happy to have a real shower after we left. It would cost a couple hundred dollars to get some ant traps, curtains for upstairs and a new shower curtain, and a little elbow grease to get the jacuzzi clean and clean out the a/c vents.

Our children had a blast playing with the host's children, and I have nothing but great things to say about the hosts. They promptly repaired an issue with the hot tub and were very accommodating in every way. We comfortably slept 6 people (4 adults, two young children). My children, hopeless YouTube addicts, were not even bothered by the lack of wifi. That alone says a ton. If you are planning to book, be prepared for longer drives to the busy (tourist) areas of the Finger Lakes. It wasn't a deal-breaker for us, in fact quite the opposite. We loved everything about it and are already talking about when we can go back.

Nice, cozy property. The owners were very responsive! The home was literally about 2 minutes from Hunt Hollow Ski Club. It is also very close to Bristol Mountain and many area wineries and breweries. The hot tub was a very nice touch after a day of skiing.

We had a great vacation! Beautiful countryside! Hot tub was relaxing at night.

Great experience staying in the countryside. Kelly was a very responsive host. Hot tub was a great way to unwind after a busy day in town. House was not as far away from hikes, breweries, wineries, etc as we expected. Would highly recommend this rental.
