The low cost and convenience

The bed was comfortable and the motel was close to the beach. Location was very good. The shower was good.

The motel was very basic with hardly any equipment in the kitchen. No teabags. Very poor lighting In the middle of the night we had an unwanted visitor - a fat mouse who clambered up onto the bench and started eating our food. The motel was not value for money.

Towels on bed still had peg on the towel 🤔 No soap No coffee Half a roll of toilet paper Only 1 channel on tv to watch no reception for other channels No staff to be seen at all No make up room or fresh towels stayed 2 nights

Everything

the property is a small walk from the beach, cafes and public transport. it’s on a quiet street. yes it backs onto the local cemetery but you cannot see it from your room. The ensuite has been recently upgraded and rooms have had minor improvements. rooms had the amenities you would expect including the ability to cook.

the staff do not stay on site. it’s evident that after Covid and previous poor reviews they are trying to save money due to lack of occupancy. They were still contactable and fulfilled all requests.

Walking distance to beach and a lovely cafe for breakfast

An extra blanket would have been good. Plus some glasses. Only tea cups in the cupboard.
