Comfortable bed, ability to check in later in a night, location is great next to Cathedral and shopping district

The hotel room was spacious and clean ,bed comfortable and the hotel was in the perfect spot for everything you wanted close to station and all the nightlife round the Altstadt...would definitely use for our next trip there....

The location is fabulous. My partner is very particular about where we stay. I took over the booking and he said he will be staying here every time!

good location
The bedsheet is itchy. then, before we left, we saw a blood stain on the blanket. it seems like it's not regularly changed. there's no room service as well. the towels are old. it's summer, yet they provided only 1 fan that barely cooled us off. not worth the price. there's no receptionist, NO ONE IN THE BUILDING AT ALL, as if they doesn't care about the guest.

Location was unbeatable. It was convenient to everything!
Cathedral was within view/minutes. Train station, Ludwig Museum, RheinRiver, Kölner Philarmonie - all within minutes.
Great value for money.
Room was very comfortable.
Would totally recommend for someone who isn't looking for a typical hotel stay, but just a nice room in a great location.

Superb location in the centre of Cologne, 5 minutes from everywhere (Cathedral, Railway Station, Xmas markets, shopping, River).
Comfortable, clean, large rooms, friendly and helpful host.
Wi-fi was a little weak/ inconsistent, but that’s a small gripe really.

The location was perfect.
The cleanness of the room was deficient. We found things under the bed from the previous guest.

Great little hotel, only 9 rooms, much better then sleeping factories with 200+ rooms, run by friendly young couple. Rooms with view at the Dom. Nice and quiet room, the hotel still has some old features but you can see that they are upgrading the hotel, no problem for me. Will stay agian when we are in Köln.

The location is amazing, and the windows blocked any noise from the street perfectly. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.
The place is old and the decor is kind of weird. Keep in mind this is a small place and the reception isn't open 24 hours, which also means you may or may not be able to leave your suitcase there after checking out.

Very good location to the city center.
And staff's response was good, so we could check in smoothly and felt comfortable during our stay.

Location was very convenient to the Dome and museums, and near the heart of activity along the Rhine and in the city.
Not much can be done about it, but the noise from drinkers on the platzes continued until after 2 am.

Good location, confortable beds.
Horrible smell in the room, no service at all, beside cleaning. They did not provided the breakfast, although we had it in our booking confirmation.

The hotel was perfect, the view excellent and the little terrace with our room with the cathedral's view was amazing. It is perfect for tourists visiting cologne for a short stay since it is close to all the wonderful things to do in cologne.
The lift of the hotel is a bit old and we got stuck one time but was our fault since we were a bit too many people inside.

The location was great. Loved that there were two rooms per floor. Breakfast was great.

It is very close to the center and from the last floor you have a nice view of the Dom.

Cozy and quiet rooms, nice hotel. I was expecting street noise considering location, but actually it was calm and quiet.
All good. Maybe I would also add refrigerator to the room.

The room was spacious. The bed were very comfortable and soft. The fact that there is a balcony is a must, in my opinion. The location is great.
The receptionist was not very welcoming. And it was really hard to communicate with her. The elevator worked one time out of three. And our room was at the highest. When we wanted to take a shower, the water was cold and we had to wait at least 10 minutes for the water to get warm. And the second day, it was the same thing
