Výborné snídaně. Hotel s velmi dobrou polohou, tichý. Příjemný personál.

Incredible history. Cleanest facility I’ve ever stayed at. Breakfast spread was amazing. The family that runs the business are wonderful people and accommodated our every need. The facility and rooms are very minimal in size and decor with shared bathrooms but don’t let that keep you from staying here. Their detail to cleanliness is incredible and their service is among the best I’ve experienced. Czec culture and people are amazing. I will be back here. Read the history on this hotel. It makes you appreciate the stay even more.

I like that the room had a fridge and an electric kettle. The location was excellent, right on the edge of the old, historic district and a walkable distance from the bus station.
Desk staff not always available. The hotel seems to have a policy of minimizing staff presence at the front desk, which I think is very unfortunate. I needed a document printed and could not get it done.

Very good variety of food for breakfast. Location of the Hotel Grand Tabor could not be better to visit most of what the area has to offer the tourist.

Good staff, easy access to room, room was large and had a old-school feeling but still functional, good character!
As they are renovating the ground floor entrance, the only way in is up a big flight of metal stairs at the rear (car park). Once this is sorted it will be better :)

Value for money Very friendly, helpful., great location and welcoming and certainly a nice break on my cycle tour on the greenaway route from Prague to Austria. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The check in and parking were efficient. Everything was well explained and the receptionist was very polite and friendly and helped with luggage. The room was small and a little cramped but was well equipped. The bathroom was modern and very clean. The breakfast was adequate, although the selection was limited.
There is no lift in the hotel and access to the reception from the car park and the front entrance and the rooms involved climbing many stairs. The receptionist was eager to assist with luggage however.

We liked the location and the overall room and bathroom were nice, clean, modern and tidy. We also liked the location as it was between the old town and the new time at the heart of the geographical city.
Room 109 was located with a window facing onto the roof of the adjacent building which had an industrial air-conditioning unit mounted on it for the supermarket bellow. It was noisy and made the room and beds vibrate all nigh and me and my partner could not sleep. To apologies, instead of a refund or voucher for another stay, we were given a bottle of cheap wine which we found insulting.

We stayed for one night in November 2021. The location is perfect - right on the edge of the historic part of town. It was a short and easy walk to the town square. The room was large and comfortable. Bathroom size was good too. The breakfast was great - lots of choices and fresh. The staff was nice and held our luggage during the day so that we could explore the town without it. Wi-fi was good. We loved the historic decorative touches in the older building.
Only negative is as others have stated. You are supposed to use the back stairs which are metal and outside. We had a heavy suitcase, so it was a bit awkward. There is a front door, but it is not always open and even if it is, you still have to manage quite a few stairs to actually get to the hotel which upstairs. But if you can manage stairs, we would recommend staying here.

Slightly problematic was a noise coming from the "machine" placed on the roof next to our window, luckily not very noisy. Bike depository in the second floor, bikes needed to be taken up the stairs - minor complication, though.

Access to hotel through external stairs or labyrinth style main entrance. Outdated and worn interior. Room access with the key, not with the key card. Rough blanket and pillows and strong laundry detergent smell. Lobby, reception and breakfast in the same room. Fair rate, considering the comfort level, would have been half that played.
