The pool and the lift to the restaurant

Von einem Pilger geführte Pension mit einer schönen Atmosphäre, einem schönen Garten und Pool. Man kann den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Es gibt Getränke und Chips zu kaufen (allerdings fehlen Light-Getränke und Schokolade). Das Zimmer war schön und funktional (ich hatte ein privates Badezimmer). Die Heizung funktionierte (wichtig für kalte Tage). In der Küche kann man sich einen Kaffee oder Tee zubereiten. Frühstück kann man in einer kleinen Entfernung am nächsten Morgen in einer kleinen Bar genießen. Am Abend gibt es einen Busservice zu einem Restaurant - wer mag. Für mich ist es dort nichts - aber viele genießen das Pilgermenü dort.

Alles sehr sauber, Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Waschmaschine vorhanden. Unterkunft liegt direkt am Camino. Ruhige Lage, man kann sich etwas Auszeit gönnen am Pool. Es gibt abends einen Fahrservice zum Restaurant mit Pilgermenüs. Super Sache. Zum Frühstück gibt es ein Café 900 m entfernt, welches um 7.30 Uhr öffnet.

Upon arrival from the Camino Portuguese, the host met us, took the time to sit down and chat a bit while explaining the workaround of the guest house, and then mentioned that we could purchase (1 euro) cold refreshment directly at the property. The pool was also very enjoyable and clean. There is also a shuttle (free) that will take you from the accommodation to the restaurant in town! Very nice place to stay in Rubiaes!

The owners, Helmut and Heidi, make this place warm and hospitable. It's not too close to any bars or restaurants, but has a nice, easy-going vibe. Great to have the pool. Rooms and facilities are nice and clean. Guests have access to the whole property, with a nice communal area that includes musical instruments. Light food is available with an honesty box. They organise a lift to the nearest restaurant. Right on the camino.
Nothing to dislike about this place. Rubiaes is a quiet spot, so not a lot going on, but we were there on the camino, so it was perfect for our needs.

the rooms were functional. the mattress very comfortable. the bathroom large and spacious. although the property was not close to the restaurant, Helmut gave us a left and were hot s left back no problem. So location is not an issue. directly on the Camino path.

Top Location with a lovely house and great common areas. The pool, although I did not use it, was a nice addition.
House feels a bit tired and in some areas needs maintenance and improvements. The potential of it is much greater in my view.

The house/room was amazing, super spacious and comfortable and in the middle of the Camino. The owners were not there, but Sofia (their neighbour) made sure we felt welcomed. She also arranged a van to take us to dinner.

wonderful property on the caminho. cannot fault it. Heidi and Helmut are very welcoming and we had a great night sleep. unfortunately we could not use the pool due to bad weather but it looked lovely.

Although the owner could not be there to greet me arrangements were made well in advance in order to gain access.
The facilities were pretty exceptional and after a couple of tough days on the Camino were very welcome.

Clean, comfortable and convenient place to stay in an area that doesn’t have much in the way of accommodation. Helmut was very kind.
The walls are pretty thin but our fellow guests were very quiet so it wasn’t a problem.

Conveniently located right on the Camino. Pool was very refreshing for our tired legs after a long first day of walking. Host was friendly and clear about the services and arranged a ride to the local eatery. I’d recommend a salad as it was the best meal our group ordered.
Slightly musty odor in the room and wished for more air circulation.

The host Helmut was wonderful and friendly and super helpful. There is a swimming pool right in front of the Casa and a huge covered patio with a great view, perfect chill place for chatting with fellow pilgrims.

Great place to stay in the Camino! Very quiet and clean. Helmut is so nice and a great host! The views are amazing and swimming pool is very well maintained. Transport arranged to and from the restaurant. Definitely recommend!

Nice room with bathroom opposite the room. Nice kitchen to use. Also a very nice and clean swimming pool. Cold drinks and red/ white wine to buy for reasonable prices.

Peregrino menu in restaurant was of poor quality. There was no other menu to choose from.
