Clean room and bathroom, good hot water in shower. Bed was reasonably comfortable. It had all the necessities I required for an unexpected overnight stay. Central location. It was what I expected for the price. Staff were friendly and obliging. Despite being a Saturday night I didn't hear any noise from the bar area, bearing in mind that no band was playing that night. Would I stay again? Maybe. The premises were smoky.

Even though I was parked outside and had entered the premises to enquire about accommodation, the hotel doesn't take walk-in bookings. It has to be done online through Booking.com. It was a bit of a pain in fact. Going back in to pay after making the online booking, the attendant took a photocopy of my driver's licence and credit card. I didn't query it at the time but should have as I don't know why, or who had access to that information and how securely it was stored (identity theft came to mind later). Had a quick meal (pizza) in the bistro which was ok. Ventilation throughout the bar/bistro area is poor. There is a definite smell of (cigarette) smoke throughout the premises. My clothes smelt of smoke the next day.

Proximity to the bay, the staff and the food.

The external air conditioners on the adjoining roof ran all night and we're extremely noisy. It made it very difficult to sleep. Other than that, the room was fine.

Facilitirs need upgrading eg. no space to hang clothes, nonpower outlet in bathroom

Room smells of mould.
