Beautiful home great location

Great house, very clean, chihuahua proof fences, was even allowed to bring my pet bird. Good communication from the host. Super quiet area but still close to everything. House had everything we needed for us and our doggo and I’ll say again super clean, prob cleanest holiday house we’ve stayed at. There is an odd step up and down between rooms if travelling with an elderly family member but not big steps.

The house is nice with plenty of rooms/beds…. Had some issues with the stove but eventually worked it out … no spa or hot tub so listing is a bit misleading … all else good

Sanctuary for the family
We stayed at the Lakeside Cottage for a peaceful weekend. The property was perfectly located in a peaceful neighbourhood within walking distance of main shops, the lake and the coast. The Cottage is clean, with all the main amenities for a family stay (including a dog). The space was perfect for enjoying time together, but for also spending quiet time apart from each other. Overall, a perfectly tranquil gem on the Central Coast.

Quiet lakeside stay
A great weekend stay. The cottage is really roomy and was very comfortable for our group of 6. It's very close to the lake and the weekend markets (although a bit of a walk to nearby shops/cafes). The host was very helpful and accommodating. Thanks for a great stay!

The cabin in lovely, well decorated, clean, close to shops, beautiful backyard and chilling space, confie beds, very clean and welcoming. lots of board games and book. We were blessed with wonderful weather, so overall 100 of out 100 Well done to the owners.

Cute cottage in a great spot
We had such a LOVELY weekend at The Lake Escape Cottage - a lot of bike riding along Tuggerah Lake, enjoying local cafes and beaches. The house was perfect, comfortable and clean, love the decor and feel of the cottage. It was important for us that our dog was welcome and safe and he was which added to our bliss. Thank you to Peter for arranging for the aircon to be on for our arrival on such a hot day and for being more than accommodating throughout. We look forward to returning again one day to The Lake House.

Loved my stay as always. It was nice and peaceful with my teenage daughter and I.
It is lovely to escape Sydney and relax near the water. I enjoyed nice long walks along the Jetty for exercise.
It feels like my second home up at the central coast as I have been going since I was a kid but since I have a spoilt Cavalier King Charles I get to bring him too.

A mini break
This is the second time we have stayed at The Lake Escape Cottage and it is just a lovely as we remembered with a few great modifications. Very homey and relaxed feel. Beautifully decorated and great for our dogs.
