We stayed here for our honeymoon! Absolutely perfect for what we needed, especially considering we were travelling with our busy toddler. The house is in a good location, right on the beach and short drive to Kingscote. Very central location. Would definitely recommend this place to others, and would stay here again ourselves! Has a garage for your car, kids facilities (high chair, kids table and chairs…), has the necessities for a stay to feel like home! 10/10 from us 😌

Large spacious comfortable family home situated in a great position near the shores of Nepean Bay Kingscote Kangaroo Island. Beautiful sunrises over Nepean Bay to be enjoyed with a public pathway metres from the home.

We arrived on a 42C degree day, and were thankful that the air conditioner had been switched on to cool the main living rooms. Luckily it cooled overnight and bedrooms were comfortable with overhead fans. Deck overlooking the water was lovely to spot pelicans and sea birds. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking at home. Small Weber Q BBQ was good for us 4. Communication was excellent with thd thoughtful owners.

We loved our stay at Aalen Beach House. The property is extremely well located with superb beach views and a lovely balcony. We had a lovely time looking out for birds and other activity on the beach, and wandering along the beach exploring.
The house is very thoughtfully kitted out with everything that you need for an enjoyable stay. Absolutely recommend.

Beautiful panoramic views from the living room and balcony at Paul and Jen’s holiday home. 20min walk to the town along a lovely walking track. Good location to stay and do day trips to visit all the places around the island

Wow- great view! Lovely spacious house right on the water front, very clean with everything you need including pantry staples.
Lovely gas bbq, plenty of seating, cooking equipment and comfy beds.

Big house for two! Very easy check in process and upon entry the view of the ocean is just spectacular! Bed was comfy and all you need for cooking is in the kitchen.
Thank god for working WiFi which did work perfectly for us especially my partner still working on the trip. Only weird thing that didn’t work was en-suite shower with hot water.. no matter how long you let water run no hot water but other shower was fine! Plus we didn’t want to waste water so just used other.
I was telling friends we must come back again with our babies and kids as house was just lovely!

This house is perfectly located at the beachfront with ample parking and all the facilities you could wish for. The five of us loved everything about it including location, facilities, spaciousness and the Smart TV. The kitchen was very well equipped and the outdoor balcony area just perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

We had another beautiful stay at Paul and Jens property. This is our go to holiday home on the island. Close to the main town. Great walking track out front, excellent deck to have a bbq and look out at the ocean.

Many thanks to Paul & Jen for the stay in their lovely bungalow. There were only two of us, but the house can easily suppport a couple of families. The main living area is the centerpiece of the house, with floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors onto the balcony with views into the Bay. Highly recommended. Neale & Debbie

Plenty of room for a family group, very clean and comfortable. Space for peace and relaxation. Direct beach access to a stunning part of KI really made this stay excellent. House is well equipped with all the necessary items required, although my family decided there were too many great places to eat out so didn’t cook once - I call that a true holiday!

We had a great stay at Aalen Beachhouse. The house was perfectly set up and a great base to explore the island every day. We would stay again.

A great place to stay ,great views, could not ask for better ,every thing you could need ,just make sure you book the ferry as early as possible as we had to book hire cars on the island,thanks very much Lindsay and Ali

the property was clean and well maintained. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the front deck with ocean view.
Pressure in the bathroom shower wasnt great but we managed. Had a very nice stay and would definitely do it again.

Nothing to report. Unable to get to the accommodation account ferry cancelled on the day of travel. I understand there is a cancellation policy and by not arriving it could have been booked by someone else but no one else would have been able to travel either.

Our stay at Aalen was beyond our expectations. The house itself is well laid out and beautifully appointed. The bedrooms were all of good size and beds very comfortable. The views from the kitchen and living area out to the beach were amazing and a large outdoor table on the front deck made it so easy to relax.
Jen and Paul were terrific hosts, easy to communicate with and quick to respond when we had a question.
We would highly recommend this property and are certainly intending to return in the future.

We loved staying here and highly recommend. The house has everything you need and more. We loved having breakfast on the deck and enjoyed the beauty of the bay view. Communication excellent with the hosts. A great base to get to various points of Kangaroo Island.

Roomy with a beach vibe. Two separate bathrooms are a must for us and our friends when travelling. Thank you. Views magnificent and location great. Great to have a garage for the car. Definitely recommend to friends. Very well equipped.

We had a fabulous stay at this perfect home. Fantastic location with such magical views of the water. Loved all the sunrises whilst enjoying a morning cuppa on the verandah. Very well equipped home. Would recommend this home for anyone visiting the island.

Our travel agency, Bucket List Travel Center, stayed at Paul’s lovely, spacious and perfectly located home for 4 glorious nights! While there we explored Kangaroo Island and checked off our own bucket list: cuddling koalas, feeding wallabies and more!

Absolutely beautiful property looking straight over the ocean. Spotlessly clean, spacious and very peaceful, yet still within a few minutes drive to town. Even had the odd dolphin swim past. Would highly recommend this property to all.

We loved our stay at Paul's and Jen's house. It was lovely and roomy with beautiful views of the beach. The kitchen was fully equipped which was very helpful for Christmas day. It's a great location with walking tracks beside the beach. Couldn't ask for anything more.

We were very happy with our stay - the three queen bedrooms were ideal for our family and the two living areas was also a bonus. The kids loved being able to walk directly out the front onto the beach. There were plenty of games, books and DVDs for the few rainy mornings. The house has plenty of room for two families and we would recommend it to our friends.

Perfect location for seeing Kangaroo Island as well as for walks on the beach and relaxing with beautiful views. The house was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed and more. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

All guests were very impressed with accommodation, location was spot on and the view from the top deck was awesome,everything we needed for our stay was provided, the owners haven't missed a thing for a hassle free holiday, we loved it.

We had such a great time at this property, we loved that there was plenty of space for 2 families. It was very clean, comfortable lots of amenities and a great location. The views were fabulous! Hopefully we can come back when the weather is warmer and take advantage of the beach!
