Excellent property, everything you need, private, spectacular views. There is place to relax regardless of weather. Clean, quiet, peaceful, hang out with nature while having many luxuries. Huge private outdoor hot tub and BBQ were greatly appreciated. The loot bag was a nice surprise, filled with bubbly, chocolate, nibblies and more. Communication with the owner was easy and personable. They seem to genuinely care about you having a great experience, thank you for sharing your patch of paradise with us. We will be back!

We loved everything about this wonderful place. The magnificent views, the sounds of the bush, looking at the night sky from the spa and the house with everything you could need. The wedge-tailed eagles and kangaroos a definite highlight! It was hard to come down the mountain and return to reality. We will definitely be back!

We loved staying at this house. We have a toddler and the big wrap around balcony was a perfect area for him to safely roam around and not escape. Wallabies and roos were everywhere, often surrounding the house and the kids loved it. The view is amazing and the house and outdoor areas really take advantage of it. You can sit in the spa and gaze out over lush farmland which is pretty cool. The place is set up with all the essentials. Everything is fairly new and works well. Much better than a lot of holiday rentals we've stayed in. There isn't a laundry though. I personally appreciated the proper espresso machine. I really don't like pods. Love the AV setup which we used more than we expected due to the weather. I appreciate good sound. The area is beautiful with heaps of bushwalks and really nice country drives. We'd definitely stay here again.

Beautiful scenery, great place for a quiet getaway.

We left the moment we got to the house and stayed at a hotel as there was lots of insects inside the propert including large spiders on the beds and in corners of walls.

We had the most relaxing weekend at this property. The owners Nelly & Steve are wonderful communicators and provided a wealth of information. If you are looking for a relaxing stay with a lovely open fire and great outdoor spa this is the place to stay. We shall return. Thankyou again Nelly & Steve.

Lovely cottage and spa. Day trip to Hunter Valley very doable; just over an hours pleasant country drive.

This little piece of heaven on a hill was chosen for our annual girls getaway, and it did not disappoint. Beautiful views, clean well equipped cottage, beautiful fireplace and spa. Was the perfect spot for us to just chill out. We will definitely be back!

This is the second time coming back to the property after a couple of years. It was just as good as the first time we visited. It was quite a cold week but thankfully the fireplace was well stocked up with firewood. Had a lovely few days here once again. Would highly recommend visiting this place if you are after a quiet getaway. The hosts Steven and Nelly were very helpful and respond in a timely manner. They also made some great recommendations on places to visit.

Great place to take the family away to relax, explore and recharge. The views are breathtaking, friendly wildlife and lots to do like tennis, fishing and hiking. I recommend the hike that loops around the cabins (can’t remember what it’s called). The house was clean, well set up and had everything we needed. Communication with owners was easy. Would recommend to anyone.

This is our second stay at this cabin. Now we have experienced both Summer and winter. Extremely relaxing and enjoyable.

Gorgeous getaway perfect for young families - we adored our little adventure up the mountains at Eaglerock, the cottage was perfect with a big fireplace perfect for marshmallow roasting and massive bbq looking out at the amazing view, big wrap around verandah perfect for running, watching the stunning sun set over the mountains from the spa bath with a glass of bubbles, big wooden table perfect for family games then feasting outdoors and exploring the bush and meeting the local wildlife-it was an amazing holiday for all of us! Soft fluffy towels, super warm cosy beds, cold champagne waiting in the fridge - all our needs were met at Eaglerock. Definitely coming back for more fun - thankyou so much for having us it was truely a magical first holiday for our little family❤️

Eaglerock lodge was by far one of the most tranquil and breathtaking places we have ever stayed at. The views at sunset and sunrise are incredible, especially when you are sitting in the spa with a nice glass of wine. The house has a beautiful open fire place which is great for when you get out of the spa to warm up. The spa also has great views overlooking the mountain which we thoroughly enjoyed. Steve was an awesome host, he gave us really specific directions to get up the hill so it was very straight forward and easy. This is the perfect stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of the busy cities and just relax and enjoy some delicious wine!

We stayed at Eaglerock for four days and enjoyed our time enormously. There is nothing like waking up and seeing that view out over the valley.

Flawless. Steve had everything organised with instructions to get there, even a bottle of sparkling. The house was nestled away, surrounded by kangaroo's and I don't think you will get a better view of the Hunter Valley. A simple walk down the hill had a tennis court, games room, pool, yabby hunting and a lookout and the other way a lush rainforest. I can't thank Steve enough for his hospitality and allowing us onto his property.

Lodge was well appointed and we had amazing views of the valley. Open fire place kept the lodge lovely and warm. Location was great with access to all facilities and walking trails.

This was our second time at Eagle Rock and we absolutely loved it!! The house is well equipped with everything you need and the kids loved the huge selection of 3D movies (glasses available). There is so much for everyone to do including bush walks, playground, hot tub!! And the list goes on. Thank you Steve. We’ll be back again soon!
